HOW TO DO A BURNOUT IN YOUR AUTOMATIC 2014 MUSTANG V6/V8 

It’s terrible ford would sell a muscle car that couldn’t do a burnout 😭 I had this trouble with my 2014 Ford Mustang. They put code in the car to prevent from “Owner abuse” but here’s the cheat code, took me a year to figure it out- turn off traction control put in sports mode then shift to 3 rd gear with your foot on the break and rev when it lets you hit almost 3 rpm shift back to first and you’ve done it :)

I've never done a burnout and this is my 2nd vid watching how to, and your instructions make me feel comfortable to try it, especially that water on the rear tires💦. Can't wait to try this on the new '24 GT!

The car sounds amazing yo. The v6s can get really raspy and Honda sounding rq, but this is nice. And the video is helpful.

I did a video about this years ago when I actually uploaded. You can can also pull a fuse i think it was F14? I dont remember but these cars have whats called brake throttle override which is what causes this. Even my 14 GT wouldnt burnout and noobs still try and argue till this day that there is no such thing even though I work for Ford they still argue lol. You did a better job on the video in a lot of ways than I did good job man. Another way around this is to start the car in select shift in 2nd gear brake torque it with 100% throttle then downshift to first

What about a Manuel,cus every time I teied it didn’t work really cus I guess maybe I hit the breaks to hard idk but soon as I lift off the clutch and hit the breaks the car stalls

If u want to burnout easily u need to get bigger gears so upgrade the differentials . I put 4:10 gears on my 12 mustang with a tune ofc and my car does burnsout and drifts with the best of em while in Drive

You definitely don't need a tune unless it's an automatic thing I have a 2012 stick v6 with just a cold air intake and it does a standing burnout easy edit: my car also turns advanced track on without holding the brakes I'm really confused

My 2012 3.7 would do burnouts all day long even when I had 2.73 gears the 13-14 v6 is weird about it my in laws 14 3.7 won’t do burnouts
