This is the most detailed video I have seen on doing this! It is so much simpler than I thought and you did an awesome job showing and explaining it! Do you know if it will be about the same on the 07-13? Cause I have a 2012 I need to do this to
Thanks alot, I appreciate that! It's really not that hard of a job. I'm not sure what the NBS trucks are like, but i would imagine that it's not much different. Maybe just try to pull the inner fender liner out of the way and take a look to see if it's much different. The main idea is the same, regardless of how different it is. Good luck!
recently did this to my 06 3500, not sure how it is on 1500s and different years but the e brake cable gets in the way of pulling the fender liner back all the way. i have tried to cut the liner high up to avoid rubbing but 35s on my 2-3 inch leveling kit still rubs at full lock. passenger side has zero rubbing whatsoever but I'm going to have to get a new liner and maybe cut around the e brake cable for a nicer finish.
Dude this way is super simple. I just did it on my truck but I havent tested it yet had to run to homedepot to get some bolts and a nut. Also i kinda messed up on one of the cuts but its not noticible. Thanks for the vid man.
So glad you gave it a shot! With the fender liner back in place most of the cuts should be covered up. It worked well for me. My truck has a 3” skyjacker lift, riding on 35x12.50x17 with a -12 offset.
@@brapster9065 I got got some 20x10 with -24 and 285/55/20 to fit perfectly on my leveled 1500HD. I have driven like that close to 3 or 4 months and it was driving me crazy until I found this vid. Thanks again.
