I love the green. It feels like a deep forest filled with ferns. The top turned out beautiful. The colors you chose are a perfect complement to the green base. I see no frogs here! I’ve never seen a paint pour with watered down paint. The results are lovely. I’ve done a few (much smaller!) pours with acrylic paint and floetrol. It’s a very different effect. I need to try your technique! It looks like a lot of fun!🌸

Thanks Deborah! Yes, I will think about trying Floetrol next time, and I'm also interesting in trying out a resin pour, but it was fun to keep things very simple this first time out. I was stunned at how much I like the effect without any additives! 😊💚

Great thinking out of the box! I love paint pours for pictures, but haven’t decided how I feel about furniture. The piece would have to be placed in the just right spot, in my opinion. But it never hurts to experiment to stretch your mind! Good job!

I saw someone do a "marble" counter top. I was hoping you would before you started. Her's was 90% shades of white with accents of grey and muted gold and a Kiss 😘 of green. It looked like polished marble. Your tilted floor helped produce the natural look of stone. Personally, I would have preferred less color in the table top. But that is just personal taste. Beautiful result. The running off the sides made it like real stone all the way through.

Amazing job Andy. The table turned out fantastic! Love the colors. Just a suggestion, if you wanted more control over the pour maybe try using chef condiment squeeze bottles. A very long time about on "Trading Spaces" one of the designers paint a end table/coffee table. She did some kind of effect with watered down dish detergent in a mister bottle and dabbled her fingers over it like playing the piano. It had almost a burling effect.

Thanks! 🎶 No, I didn't - the paint I am using (Fusion Mineral Paint) contains a topcoat, so not necessary to apply one. 😊💚👍

As an interior designer myself, I recently donated my time and materials redoing a pair of nightstands for a teen Mom home, the EL ROI house. I tried faux marble on top (never did that before) and black base. Using regular wall paint. Turned out great! Hope you’re feeling like your seemingly quirky ideas are some of best finished surprises! You go girl!

I love frogs and green is my favorite color, so I think your "Frogleg Table" looks great! A friend of mine is a welder, metal worker and sculptor. One of his best selling lamps features lizards running up it. People love something that captures their imagination, and your "Frog Leg" table certainly does that! 🙂

Ok, I enjoyed the crap out of that whole video! I LOVE LOVE THE froggy leg table! I think the legs were the best part of this funky piece! Absolutely beautiful paint pour, I say work with the gravity, it turned out super awesome just the way it is! Also, I'm a terrible blingy person, so I definitely probably would have oversparkled, yours had just a hint to die for sparkly, and green is my fave color! So your video gets an enthusiastic 10/10¡! From me! It makes me want to go run out n scour the alleys of my freezing hometown In Montana (at 4:45am) people always hVe good stuff laying out, sadly I never indulge my husband is quite ready to kill me if I bring one more stray homeless "anything!" When I first saw your gorgeous roadside hunk, I thought of a Greek or Roman God......After the very handsome dark green base, I was convinced that the table was a tribute to one with great powers. I do have to admit that I was giving you peanut gallery direction.....pour from the right...blow from the right..etc. In the end, and a clean up normally reserved for my own projects, voila........ The Greak god of Earth Envo.......That's my way of saying WOWl!! The same hunk but now all dressed up.

I truly thought I would not like this. A green table, come on. But after you painted and it dried I decided I liked that green. But then the top? Technically, yes, it's always better to pour on a flat surface, lol... And, yes, you do need a thicker pouring medium (as an experienced paint pourer, I'd suggest adding less water and some floetrol next time). BUT, in this case, those "mistakes" worked to your benefit in a big way. The top of the table ended up with this really cool, watercolor-y effect that may not have happened without those mishaps! I love it when art goes that way, and the unintended consequences end up being the most beautiful part. :) If I had the right space for it, I'd buy that table in a heartbeat!

I remember those coffee tables. Big, bulky and brown. Love that you keep things real. Love, love the green. I was wonderfully surprised on the outcome of the top. Laughed so hard on the "mess". Hey, this is life. Beautiful work as usual!! If you want to know more about paint pours I would suggest one of my favorite channels @OlgaSolby. As per her channel she is "a nature-inspired abstract artist working primarily in acrylic pouring and fluid art techniques." Love to see how you would combine these techniques into some of your beauties.

It is just so pretty...I really enjoyed this... a few years ago I bought a great big old Square coffee table for $2 to put in my living room for the grandkids to color and play on thinking it's not going to bother me at all if it gets damaged or marked up because I only paid $2 for it. So now that they're getting a little bit older and a little bit less messy I'm thinking this might be a fun thing to try on my old coffee table. I really like the choices you made and even though I was a bit skeptical about the whole project I hung in there and you knocked it out of the park as usual
