Rufus looks exactly like our cat, Cocoa. She was half Persian and half long hair with the deep dark coat of fur. So wonderful to see you include the cats when they visit.

I really enjoyed seeing your restoration. If I wasn't a 77 year old little old lady, I would love to do that kind of satisfying work, as a business. Without special tools, I did do quite a few restorations of Antique and vintage furniture when I was younger. It was always so satisfying and I enjoyed using all the pieces I restored. I never did it for re-sale, just for my own use. I am a perfectionist like you so I really appreciate the meticulous way you do all your restorations. I do still work myself and do very intricate work of a different nature.

I'm not usually a fan of reddish tones in natural wood, but it seems to suit this little table very well. It looks remarkable now and the grain lines on the top are lovely.

Nice to see you use Sapele , we used so much of it when I worked for a shopfitting company back in the 80's. Such a lovely color wood, warm pinky tones. Great job of the table , love the visits from the cats too.

Omg! Rufus is gorgeous, and so is the other kitty (Mia?). They're so sweet. It's so cute how they always come to visit you for a cuddle. 🤍 Oh yeah, and the table is nice. Lol. It is a rather simple table, but the brass accents make it special. It is all freshened up now and will last for so many years.
