In this video, you'll learn how to do bridge rotation. We’ll start by understanding the order of actions for the bridge and rotate movement. Then, I will demonstrate the proper progressions and execution of this capoeira move. Finally, I will discuss 2 common mistakes you should avoid while learning this awesome capoeira movement.
The idea behind bridge rotation is to start on all fours and then take a cross step with your leg replacing your hand into a bridge position and finally, using the other hand to get out back to all fours.
This is one of the capoeira floreio movements that will test your body’s flexibility. Although, being flexible is an important asset in learning this technique, I will share a few solutions on how to overcome the hurdle even for someone who isn't so flexible.
