Just incase you haven't found out by now, while you're floating you have a bit of extra aerial drift. So you use that to let go of your stick and then single press nair. Even if you miss, it's still aerial pressure towards your opponent and you can assist that pressure with turnips.

GD Stoomy that happens when you input c stick 1 frame before jump, when you do this it will almost always be a nair , to fix this you need to buffer jump(aka hold jump a couple frames before you’re about to leave the ground) this makes jump come out in frame 1 and makes your c stick input buffer after jump so you never get nair

@@tas562 do you use c stick for tilts on the ground and aerials? i mainly use it for aerials as sometimes it feels inconsistent on the ground and dosen't come out as fast, do you have the same issue?

Anarky the issue you’re having is with the buffer system in this games engine not the c stick

Anarky the c stick has to return to neutral before you do another move. Another input before it does and your c stick jams, so I’d recommend simply learning the timing for tilts on the ground or learning to buffer tilts with a direction on the joystick and A instead of with c stick

You lose a lot of momentum doing a shorthop nair because you have to let go of the movement stick
