Hala means Plow and Asana means Pose. So it is also named as plow pose. Halasana rejuvenate the inner parts of your body and make it healthy again. This pose gives flexibility to spine as well as strengthens the back muscles. Halasana is one of advanced yoga pose, simple to practice and contains lots of benefits. If you practice halasana regularly then you completely avoid lifestyle diseases like diabetes, obesity, constipation, stomach disorders, blood pressure and menstrual disorders.

I am 59 yrs male doing 'halasana to the nearest point 90% success - one should practice slowly in the evening daily basis for months can do wonder

Extremely underrated pose for fixing tight hamstrings. I actually had never seen this pose, though thought of it by myself as a method to target my hamstrings... I had to google for a while to figure out it's this "halasana". And this video teaches it quite well. Thanks.

@@adamtobey3623 Our neck is designed to have a C shape to support our 10 lbs head against the gravity. When we lose the C shape from, may b, an accident, one way to adjust it back is to put a towel around n behind our neck n then lean our head backward while pulling the towel forward. So when we do that yoga position, we adjust our neck negatively, in the opposite of the C shape. It's just that pure and simple, nothing complicated.

Hello, can I have some suggestions on yoga asanas that is good for vericocele cure? am focusing on natural healing process with proper diets (mostly veggies, fruits, nuts, fibres intakes n more water), yoga asanas, stretches and brisk walking. I want my vericocele to heal naturally with time. Please suggest me the tips and yogas necessary to cure n heal the problem. Thank you.

@1:05, that's very dangerous. Ur neck is supposed to b a C shape to support a 10lbs head against the gravity. That position is equivalent to having a severe rear end accident. I've been spending my lifetime adjusting my neck back to C shape.

@@sarcaxsmz2893 Say no to your teacher. You can do other positions, but don't mess with your neck. On the extreme side of the problem.....the actor in the movie Superman in the 80's was paralyzed from the neck down because he fractured his neck. A smaller problem(than being paralyzed) is u'll feel sleepy n tired all the time.
