Good evening master, I am aged 54, last one month started to practice yoga. Never done before in my life. I have been doing some other exercises like gym, walking. Your way of learning padmasana is really wonderful. I tried your method for the last 10 days and I achieved the position today. Extremely happy...I will practice more for perfect position.

Updating after 4 and a half months: I can sit in Padmasana perfectly for about 2 - 5 minutes. I still have to warm up before directly going into the asana. I had seen very many tutorials on how to sit in Padmasana and this is by far the best. This is because even though I did all the steps to the t, I still wasn't able to hold the final pose for more than a second or two. But after this video and after a few months of trying, I am able to sit in Padmasana now. Atul ji, thank you so much for this video! ✨ P.S: I still have to work on increasing the duration I sit in this Asana.

Like, you said in this video, wrong way of doing this exercise might end up in some injury, I have already injured my knee by trying to sit in padmasana, there is a shooting pain while folding the legs to sit on a normal chokdi as well, can you suggest some knee exercise to relieve the pain.
