In this video, I explain how to do "vacuum abs," or upward abdominal lock (Uddiyana Bandha). Once you know how to do this move, skip ahead to 5:38 when the quick morning core routine starts!
Thanks! I’m a few months postpartum, is it safe to do the rocking into the boat? I’m working on with your Kegel camp since I have a slight separation and prolapse. Would really appreciate any advice as I’m working through this crazy time with no real guidance. You videos have been a life saver!!
Hi Dr. Bri. Thank you so much for this clear explanation of "hypopressives". I so needed this today. Before Covid-19, I was working with a pelvic floor specialist and getting results. Now since I am home, I am still doing all of the exercises she taught me, but feel I am sliding, maybe because we are home and sitting more....:( My pelvic floor feels sore, but this helped a lot. Please keep the vids coming for "movement breaks" and ideas due to too much sitting. Thank you! I feel so much better. Will be doing this one often!! I especially love the 3 min miracle vid!
I'm so glad my videos are serving you during this time of physical distancing, it PAINS ME to see so many services closed (out of necessity) and to think of folks who aren't able to get the treatments they need! I think you'll really enjoy Kegel Camp, coming up April 1-30. Stay tuned and help me spread the word!
I'm so glad to hear it! Some GREAT moves in here for the deep core muscles. You've seen this video, too, I hope? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2fbAQeutBkg.html
FemFusion Fitness thank you... lol I’m obsessed I already did this video and I loved the vacuum video. I’ve been doing Ab camp everyday as well. Can’t wait for kegel camp!!!
very interested in learning vacuum breathing for pelvic floor. i dont quite understand what you mean by a fake inhale. Will you please explain? Thank you so much for all your videos.
I did hypopressives everyday for two weeks a few months ago. I ended up with a hiatal hernia and something off in my esophagus to the point where when I drank water it would just pool in my throat and then trickle down over the course of several minutes. So sad because my pelvic floor felt amazing!
Hi Dr. Bri! Thank you so much for this video. I love learning new breathing techniques and this is awesome! Woke me right up this am! Looking forward to what’s up next! ☀️. Have an awesome day! Lauren
Thanks 🙏🏼 love everything you do!! How empty does your stomach needs to be? Can I drink water and then do it? I just drink a lot of water when I wake up and still would like to do this in the morning. Thanks!
Loved this workout Dr. Bri. Haven’t done a whole lot of your workouts as I had some problems with the movements, but decided when I saw this one to do it and I actually finished doing modifications. Guess I’ve felt I had to do it just like you did but finally realized I had to make it work for me. As long as I’m moving right!!!! See you in your next workout or sooner!! Thanks for the great instructions.
