In this video we go over how to do the brakes on my 1986 300zx (though most of this information will apply to a lot of vehicles). We also go over a quick and simple way to paint the calipers to not only improve the look but also to reduce rusting.

Fello z31 owner here and enthusiast of all things water cooled japan. Its a good ide to purge the old brake fluid that's been in the caliper oftentimes since it rollednoff the line. It will be break down ever time and condensation from heat cycles will accurate and can rust parts. Stay safe out there!!

I don’t have a video but I pulled slack from the ebrake cable (make sure it’s down while doing brakes) and then pulled/pried it off with a small pry bar. Disconnecting the ebrake cable may be required if you can’t get enough slack. My was not seized but it is very tight to get off.
