This is really good information. Thank you! I've had my medium-sized Wacom for several years. I still keep grabbing the mouse first, and watching this encourages me to rethink my habits. Maybe it's also time to rearrange my desk so that my Wacom is more accessible! (Answer: Yep!) I can share a tidbit to add to your presentation. The button in the center of the "wheel" can select what the wheel does. I changed mine to brush size. I can spin the wheel in either direction to change the brush size as I draw.

Hey Aaron, I really appreciate and enjoyed the tutorial. I am having a issue however with the brush. I am using a Wacom Bamboo but each time I use the brush it reverts back to rounded edges. Any suggestions?

Can you use a laptop in tablet mode with a stylus? Wondering if it would pick up the pressure differences or if I should just invest in a tablet. Great video, addicted to phlearn right now!

Excellent tutorial, excellent. I have a med Wacom and a iMac 27” 5K. I have not connected my Wacom and continue to use my mouse in Photoshop...because I cannot seem to get the Wacom setup correctly on Mac/Photoshop. This video has made me want to give it another try. If anyone can link a great RU-vid Wacom “how to” setup for my configuration I’d be extremely grateful. This is like a magic tutorial here on explaining the pen and brush settings...amazing. The brush i have downloaded looks like the others and preassure sensitivity does not work. Don´t know why. It´s not a tapered brush as it shows on your screen.???

Don't waste your money on cheap imitations. If all you have is a little, then it's more precious when you spend it, so make sure you get the most out of it for the longest time possible. Buy only good quality stuff and you won't look back when it fails, only to have to spend your money again for the same reason.

I'd bite the bullet and just get a Wacom. They are so worth it. And you don't need to get the biggest baddest one out there, a small or medium is more than enough for most Photoshop applications.

you channel provides good content but do you really think I am gonna register for one brush ? thats not only with you but almost with every other channel. be practical and keep it simple. No one is going to subscribe for one brush, it will simply put off your audience.
