It’d be cool if the person who takes the gym got to choose whether it’s the new system or old system. I miss training and fighting ten Pokémon. If I took 3 gyms I’d make the first one new system to guarantee coins then 2 old system for the challenge and star dust bonus.

Actually the "health regain" is the same issue as when a raid boss "regains health". The servers will register a death and "re-snyc" itself mostly in the benefit of the pokemon still alive. So it's actually a glitch that we can exploit, but it won't be fixed because niantic can't fix those particular battling issues. To fix this, they would end up fixing the dodge glitch. Maybe with the acquisition of Seismic games, their developers can clean up. But most likely, they were acquired to speed up the production of that harry potter mobile game. So don't count on it.

potions and revives just take up bag space and lots of people end up throwing them away so unless your pokemons attack is particularly stronger than the rest of your teams just attacking seems better in the long run

can you dodge when battling in gyms and in PVP? I never see a yellow symbol as to when I should dodge, do you swipe left or right to dodge or? I barely started playing POGO last week btw LOL I'M A NOOBSTER!

about 99% of people where I play are just screen tappers, no strategy, no proper movesets. no proper counters. .THey dont even level their mons up to at least 30 for raids. They rely on sheer numbers to win raids. Yesterday we LOST a Regice raid with 7 people. It was quite annoying, Anyways, I noticed no one dodges. EVER. So I never had anyone to teach me. Ive been playing since January, some of these people have played since Launch, and yes, they dont use proper move sets. Great video. Im going to practice more, and try to perfect this skill. A dodge might be the difference of getting off 1 more charge move and winning. Besides, when PvP comes out, I want destroy everyone who is a screen tapper.

Most of the time when I double dodge a hyper beam or solarbeam...I often get hit and sometime I can't even dodge faster with kyogre after it done water fall instant to dodge a stone edge of onix But the video was helpful

Can someone explain why you still take damage even though you've dodged the attack? Is it only a partial dodge or what?

4th video and I have yet to see anyone actually state HOW to dodge. do I jerk the phone one way ot another, tilt the phone, swipe left or right on the screen, issue a verbal command while tweaking my left nipple?......That basic info is missing in every video HOW, HOW, HOW does one dodge?

it was too fast for me to see the flash so I use the sixth sense lol and actually you don't need to swipe back when dodging
