Raw Unsoku is fine but it feels riskier for me since enemy will tend to backdash out of range when they see it. 4, cd and sentai all put you in range of getting hit, but if you commit to an attack you whiff and get hit I use it rarely, but it is helpful sometimes

@@hanslim7at mid screen it can be good to use u/d. Unsoku instead of back. It’s something to only be used mid screen tho bc it doesn’t create as much space as b.Unsoku. However b.Unsoku isn’t meant to be used as a mixup but instead as a bait/punish. It’s a fast backwards space creating move that’s cancelable. Un4 reaches extremely far making it a good (safe on block) whiff punish tool. Then wavedash and sentai cancel allow you to quickly close the distance without have to commit to anything or be stuck in a state where you can’t block. It’s a good mental stack on the opponent bc the have to look out for Un4 while approaching.

@@lumineanwari2126 Yeah true. But I think even more important than it being a launcher, is that it’s a heat engager. And engagers are great for Reina bc it forces 50/50 and allows her to start up her oppressive offense.

3 is slower and launch punishable by literally everyone on block. 4 is faster and not launch punishable by everyone on block. 3 does more dmg tho. So if you block a big low that staggers the opponent on block, its optimal to use 3 to launch on block. But if you are ducking 1 jabs, its better to use the 4 option to whiff punish as it is faster and the opponent might not have the reactions to block. And even if he does, you dont get launched. So basically, 3 if you block a big low, 4 for all other situations :D
