thanks archery for your support NOW the 2.75" width is determine by your client. eg you can decide the brim to be too wide you adjust from 2.75 ..... to your desirable choice or you want the brim to be small you still adjust to your choice. in brief THE 2.75" for the brim panel or middle panel is not constant. regards

Mostly Bonnie hats are associated with military forces duet to it's wide and stiffer brim. So depending on the country Bonnie hat come in different designs, ventilaton. 3. The 2.75'' width is subject to change according to your preference on how wide or small you want the brim to be. It's not not permanent thought 2.75 is some how standard for most of Bonnie hats outside there

No I didn't use any lining instead I used same fabric sew right side facing each other then turned it inside out. Thnx

I am finding it easier to adjust patterns that don't have seam allowance built in. It's not hard to add it if you want it.
