I have a teensy little request… Could you please do a whole body video and show how you do everything but try to explain it to a person that can’t really see shapes in art to help! I’m trying to help my art skills but they aren’t really improving
hey i have a tip to see shapes in art. get a picture reference in a simple pose and put it onto whatever art app you use. then use only circles, squares, rectangles, all the easy shapes and outline the main bits (try not to do wavy lines but more straight). example like a circle for the head, rectangles and squares for arms or body. dont worry abt details and just look at the main parts
I wouldn't say her art style is the most beginner friendly tbh like for example with the face if u start with the chin unless you know the anatomy or have draw it a lot before it just won't work
As an artist lease note guys that this is her style even though I start off differently and so do many other artist please be considerate of her style and do t get mad if it doesn’t work for you
Your style is nice, but a few suggestions from an artist who Ike’s to give constructive criticism- 1) It’s easier to draw a few guidelines for facial features and head shape BEFORE you draw the shape of the actual head. Helps with placement and makes everything even out a bit better. 2) I would place the eyes and ears lower, seem too high. That’s one of the places where the guidelines work best. 3) Necks aren’t that curvy. Very in natural and she kinda looks like a lama because if that.😂 sorry- I couldn’t not point that out. Other than these few mistakes, I like the way you put the beginning of the ears where the eyeline is, and I like how you used barely any pencil on the scalp. Your style is also pretty cool. But try not to post in words “HOW to do something” rather than “how I do something”. It can really confuse beginners who need all the right tips they can get. Thnks, and don’t take offense to anything I said😅!
i love watching art tutorials because I couldn't even imagine trying to draw a head like that. its so interesting to see how many different ways the same outcome can be achieved, and i love watching them
It's so interesting to see other styles for fashion sketches. I always prefer a youthful and expressive look, with the nose being the most detailed because it brings a very structured yet flowy look. I love this tho, it's much more snached with the lips and eyebrows being most expressive. I love it.
