I’ve always been afraid of pastels, they look like a medium so difficult to control. But you’ve made want to try them 👌👌👌

Not at all!! Just don't try to work on miniature with them and you'll love them. You can find inexpensive but good quality soft pastels as well. Let me know how you get on 😊

This is incredible! I'm finishing off my PhD in physics, and cosmology is one of my areas of study. I was particularly impressed with how you captured the center of the Milky Way, yet the entire drawing is amazing. I'd love to see more drawings like this sometime in the future. One thing I'd particularly like to see drawn is the Cosmic Web which is composed of essentially all the structures in the known universe.

This is beautiful! Sometimes ASMR can be really irritating for some reason, especially the mouth sounds. But this is what I feel like it's supposed to be, regardless if intentional or not. Also, the art itself is just amazing and I'm actually inspired to try this out for myself one day. I'd love to be able to draw anything space related! 💖🌌

This is amazing I wish I could draw like you, always tried when younger, but was always terrible at it lol. FYI this is the Andromeda Galaxy and not the Milky Way Galaxy you are using for reference. You should try drawing a black hole or a nebula, would be fantastic to see, the potential in nebulae is limitless.

Wow this is beautiful leila! I can't believe all the different styles of drawing you have mastered it's really impressive! I'm curious tho is there any kind of drawing technique you personal struggle with more than others?

Hm.. interesting question! I think it's not so much struggle with one more than the others, it's more of one media suiting the subject matter more than others. Like for example this sketch would have been more time consuming and not as effective in graphite pencils. Or if I would have used colouring pencils it would have taken ages to complete. In my opinion pastels were the best drawing media for this subject matter. If I was working on something very detailed and precise I would have struggled with soft pastels and would have done better with pencils or something else. 😊❤

There is but it’s so loud you would hear it in the video so I have to turn it off while filming. Also filming takes a while. I had to film for over 3 hours to make this video. I edit it to make it shorter and more compact for you guys. But sitting with little movement in a cold room is what makes me wear my winter jacket indoors 😄 thanks for noticing ❤️
