In this video we continue the realistic portrait guide and draw the beard. Facial hair can be tricky to draw so in this video i will explain and demonstrate various techniques and methods i use to draw this in pencil.

You're an inspiration. Because I was discourage when I went to Art College and they did nothing but rubbish so I was discouraged when I was a teenager . I found listening to you incarriage me then I start doing my art again and I found that I am doing better then I did before.

He doesn't use any indentation methods as he always says, "draw what you see" hence 6 hours to do the beard as he said.

I really dont get how you do it, you just print the picture with your hand. I dont think anyone can imitate whay you do. It is beautiful to see but i really dont think ill ever can do that.

As realistic as this is, the skin tone is way too dark. The beard would stand out more if the skin was lighter and would look like a continuation of his skin.
