@@MapsbyOwen Do you mind clarifying what you mean in example #3 by "diagonal line that faces north" vs "diagonal line that faces south"? maybe i'm not thinking about this right but don't diagonal lines face north and south at the same time? how are you differentiating them?

@@hemslonnigum No problems, I found this bit quite hard to explain. I'm referring to the outer edges of the forest. So let's imagine your forest is a perfect 4 sided diamond shape. The bottom two edges would be facing south, diagonally and the top two edges would be facing north, diagonally. Does that help? Happy to get into it further

@@MapsbyOwen Hmmmmm ok this is very helpful, I can picture this more clearly now. So basically with this model, it depends also on which side (east or west) we are drawing on to determine how to proceed?

@@hemslonnigum Hi Elon, so for the southwest and southeast portions of our diamond, we'd draw whole trees. For the northwest and northeast sections, we'd just draw the tips.

If you’re talking about wasd20, he is deliberately catering to people who are less “seasoned” of cartographers, if you’ve seen his underworld map, you’d know that when he doesn’t hold back, he is incredidible

I wish I knew how to to post a picture. They look so good!! My 4 looks more like water but that’s okay. 2 is my favorite I think. Your instructions are easy to follow. But it would be great if you could pause with your hand out of the frame for a couple seconds when you finish each instruction. It’s sometimes hard to get the video paused at the right place.
