Even if you're entry level, I was always taught it's best to dress to impress. These are great looks for day to day in the office, but for an interview it's best to air on the conservative side and wear a solid color suit with closed toe shoes. I know that probably sounds "boring," but as someone mentioned, wait until you have the job to bring out your personality.
@rkgk1517

"Dress for the job you want, not the job you have." Not in an over-the-top way, but if you're entry level you shouldn't look this casual! Interview look was also not conservative enough! In addition, these models are thin, yet these clothes are tailored in a not-too-flattering way... The best thing that you can do is buy stuff that looks classic, treat it well, and get it tailored to fit you... that makes you look more competent than lots of different stylish pieces that might look immature to the older people in charge

I like all the looks in this video. Some were on the casual side, yes but not boring and not too flashy or revealing. I got hired for an entry level position wearing my statement long, A-line belted coat. During my interview I didn't even take it off, I just got out of the cold in the dead of winter. I'm sure my hands were cold too. Underneath it I wore a long white blouse with a pearly sheen, thick black leggings and black, stiletto knee high boots.

The entry level outfits are great for business & law. You dont have to do exactly what they show but the idea of it is really great!!!! For example the first girls entry level outfit you can but a blazer on at it would turn into a more corporate look.

I love the clothes, but the clothes shown for entry level positions are more adequate for retail--store--interviews than executive/office. A good quality suit, well fitted to your body with no bunching of fabric anywhere, a fluid line, whether black or charcoal or gray paired with a silky crew neck top, in a pop pop of color, like red or bright blue. A nice piece of jewelry, nothing huge but has to be expensive looking. Great mid heels pumps, clean and looking new. A nice bag, the best you can afford, for entry level not designer's but great quality and classic. A great watch. Even a simple, well fitting classic dress, with some sleeve length, with a great fit and good quality fabric, solid color. All these would be much better, all that would change between entry level, mid level, etc would be the quality and prices of the pieces.

I think the entry level outfits are great. When you start in the field you really don't want to dress the same as your superiors. When you start to progress in your job then you can start to use bolder, more dynamic cuts and colours. (Less Casual)

THANK YOU for doing very appropriate entry level and creative job interview outfits. I could have really used this a couple of years ago. Other outfits on the internet are always about looking too corporate. And I ended up looking way too intimidating or expensive.

dressing for a job interview really depends on the company itself. For instance you're not going to wear the same thing to an interview for a casual job at McDonalds as to a full time corporate professional job at KPMG. The most important thing is knowing the corporate culture of the organisation and seeing what kind of values they uphold, then dressing accordingly.

I think the majority of the comments have this right. In about 80% of interviews none of these outfits would be appropriate. I can see exceptions for creative careers or entry-level like a clothing store or fast food restaurant. It's drilled into your head what is appropriate to wear to an interview and I think a lot of people would not be considered for a corporate job wearing outfits like this, unfortunately.

I viewed this video as "what to wear to work once you have the job" :) Personally, i think it's too casual for interviews. If you were interviewing for a casual position like in retail or something then it would be great but definitely not for corporate positions! In interviews i think you should just go all out.. overdressing is better than underdressing in those situations. I'll be starting work in corp soon and this video answered a lot of questions about what to wear on a daily basis :)

In wearing a piece of statement accessories I think that drawing attention towards the face is a good thing, assuming you're good at keeping eye contact! I find that a pair of dangling ear rings does quite well. Also, for the casual look; The male model wore dark blue SLACKS. Never EVER at any cost wear jeans to an interview! No matter how casual the position! Dress to impress~ :P and good luck everyone n_n i have an interview on tuesday

Like I said before what mainly works here are the ideas. That pencil skirt probably has a matching blazer & if the blue is to saturaded you can change it into a more tone down color or another netrual. This are inspirational videos & videos to learn something from not videos to mimick every single thing. Even in medicine field ur wardrobe will need to help stand out as ur resume or cover letter did. What could help u be different from the other 20 other people in a crispy shirt & black suit?

An entry level position just means a starting position that you either start at right after graduating university or when you have very little experience. It could be in any sort of field, whether it's business or not. So what I was saying was that the outfit was not really appropriate for a business entry level position interview.

I work in an entry level position in an accounting firm and we wear formal business attire to client meetings and we expect our applicants to dress in formal business wear. When we are in the office we are able to wear business casual. All your outfits would be inappropriate for an interview at our firm, and wearing those open toed shoes, even in business casual would be a big no no. It would have been good if you looked at styling simple, formal suits.
@betty4gators

In real life these outfits would not be appropriate. If a job candidate came to my office in one of these outfits I would not be impressed.

I think it's possible to still be cute and incorporate these things. For a job interview, I wore black heels at least 5 inches (I love high heels). And I always have to have at least one statement piece and a big purse (because it's not possible for me to carry all my things in a small bag XD). And I got the job :) You can incorporate these things and still be professional ^-^

I still need help with accessorizing. It looks a bit off when I combine certain pieces and I don't get why sometimes. -_- Maybe a vid on basic/versatile jewelry pieces for a chick that's transitioning from piling mood rings and 25cent chokers to pearls and chandelier-type earrings. :D

hmmm i think this should depend on the job you are applying for. for example, the first outfit that the girl was wearing for an entry level position, i would NEVER wear to a business interview. it's way too casual, and i'd only wear it on a work day, NOT to an interview. regardless, these are nice outfits for work!

Entry Level is The lowest position of a job. Example: Straight out of college you get the job that requires the lowest amount of experience....Its your "entry" into the industry and allows you to build the experience to move up he latter. ...Hope this helps :-)

I don't think there is ever one way to dress for work. Yes, you should dress up a little more for an interview, but after you get the job you should just look at the dress code and take note of what other people there are wearing and go from there. Pretty simple.
