Great dialogue mate. As a retired Chiropractor, I heartily agree with everything you have said. I use one roll of toilet paper once a month. Also talking about so called forbidden subjects like masturbation, another forbidden dialogue that EVERYONE partakes in but are too dam scared to talk about it. Also we could say SENSUALITY instead of Sexuality for our ability to touch and feel and BE comfortable with ourselves and others. Health is about Being Honest with honest talk ... bravo 👏👏 excellent freedom of dialogue.

I looove poop talks! 😂😂😂😂 Seriously, I really do ... because there is so, so, so much misunderstanding and ignorance out there in conventional standard medicine! Many, many, many years ago when my diet was 95% veggies (mostly raw), I used to have very loose stools that broken apart once it landed in the toilet water. I repeatedly asked my doctors about this condition at my annual physicals, and no matter who they were, these doctors invariably told me that it was normal if it had always been that way--the only time to be concern was if there was sudden change. Once I learned about the detriments related to a high-veggie & high-fiber diet, I decreased my consumption of veggies and eat more meat (well, had to replace the nourishment vacated by eating less plants, right? 😉) I felt and looked less bloated, less gassy, and my poo got a lot more solid.

I started taking fiber gummies. I only eat one meal a day (omad) after work around 9pm. I have all the energy I need during the day. Been like this over half my life. I’m 45. 95% of the month, it’s type 5/6. And 5% type 4. Type 4 is usually at the end of the month. But I recently was in a car accident and I’m taking magnesium citrate. Now it’s type 7. 😂 I’m also spending 30min on toilet. 4-5 times a day. Sometime 5 min after I just got off.

I am lucky that I have generally had the sort of motions which Dr O'Mara describes...but it has always surprised me at the representation of going to the toilet in American television - with people taking a book or newspaper in with them and all the fart jokes. I remember an episode of the Sopranos where a guy dies in the toilet after eating a lot of turkey leftovers at Thanksgiving.

Jesse, I really wish you would press much harder against some of these people who say that only their way is the right way. This guy is ridiculous. His favorite scientific study size is N=1 (much like that oxalate lady a couple months ago). Just because something works for you doesn't mean it works for everyone. That's why we do science. There are millions of people who do things differently and have great results, but I guess they need to stop what they are doing and pay this guy $25,000 so they can have the privilege of getting an MRI from him. Why do carnivore people think that fiber is only relevant to digestion? Their go-to response is always some version of 'I ate beans once and had a wittle tummy ache so now I only eat ribeyes.'
@violetviolet888
@violetviolet888 8 месяцев назад
Dr. Sean O’Mara was an emergency medicine physician. In that role, he treated people from all walks of life. And it was obvious, even the wealthiest people failed at being healthy. Despite being a doctor, he wasn't in good shape himself. In addition to being overweight, he suffered from several other chronic health issues. A patient confronted him about his weight and introduced him to the paleo diet. That's all it took for him to realize how much impact even a small change in diet could have on overall health. His medical training utterly failed to prepare him to understand the changes that he experienced from changing his diet. He became a researcher for the purpose of learning more about how to reverse chronic disease. He found that there is nothing more effective at eradicating chronic disease than visceral fat as a biomarker. He believes that the availability of knowledge on how dietary lifestyle changes reverse chronic diseases will significantly help his patients and the healthcare system. After years of research, helping clients and studying thousands of MRIs, my strategies allow people to get their health and life back and grow better not just older. This is because they address the root cause of disease -- visceral fat -- not just the symptoms.

@@violetviolet888 Copying his self-congratulatory bio from his website is neither surprising nor enlightening. It just reinforces two points I made: 1) much of what he says is based on his personal experience (N=1), and 2) he is putting this particular message out there so he can sell his services, which don't come cheap. But again, my hope would be that the interviewer would have pushed back on the fiber issue, and asked about the numerous studies that have been done around the world that have positive benefits for, inter alia, all-cause mortality, blood glucose control, improved immune system, improved neurological benefits, as well as improved digestion. The research groups that performed these studies are not related to each and did not have a financial incentive to find these benefits. It doesn't help people seeking answers to health questions to allow every person with a medical affiliation to say whatever they want without probing them about competing hypotheses.

We all function the same way but with the advent of marketing, many things changed, including our mindsets. We simply trust what the ads say, as well as the doctors who were trained by corporations for profit. They make their foods taste good, test on animals to tell us foods are safe, and even created the FDA to tell us the foods are safe. It's all one circle of profiteering that uses taste, and health advertising for profits, even tho the foods were created in labs and are full of chemicals. We all have to decide who to trust, and if one is healthy eating plants now, they won't be in future, as plants slowly damage the body, not to mention alcohol, smoking, drugs etc., on top of plants. Jesse's channel is about what he believes is healthy to eat. I don't know why you are here when you could be supporting channels you believe in.
