Always good to see new FCP content! I think this video is going to be helpful to a lot of people. One quick thing I would mention, and perhaps you already know this but don't like the workflow. If you press J K and L that will allow you to play through the timeline. J for reverse, K for stop and L for forward. If you press J or L twice, it will playback at two times speed. Might save you the hassle of 2x speeding your videos, then converting back to normal speed!
The J and L twice is sweet! I didn’t know that. I don’t use the regular JKL because of I have a mouse that does a lot of it but appreciate the help!! Thanks for engaging 🤘🏻
Thank you! This was super helpful! I'm having an issue getting the audio files to sync? Every time I try to switch camera angles it is still using the clip audio and not external audio. How can I fix that?
There's are 3 little icons in the top left of the window switcher. One is a film strip with audio level, one is just a filmstrip, the other is just audio. Make sure the second one is selected (filmstrip) so it only switches the video and not the audio!!
You did that so fast that I didn’t even see what you were doing. (Steps). I know a lot of people that create on RU-vid everybody’s in a hurry. Trying to keep peoples attention. But if the people watching, don’t get the information, (steps)then what’s the purpose?
I did have a question on the audio sync. Each person has a mic and a camera angle for them. How does it know which audio goes with the proper camera angle? Not sure if I’m asking properly.
