Appreciate the support and the most i would do bro is a 4lb and the stock upper should make around 12lbs or u can do a 6lb lower the most but on a safe tune that will give u 14lbs
What are those others sensors that get unplugged? There’s 3. Is one of them the boost bypass boost solenoid? My truck making a blower noise now…. What is that sensor that is is reused after the egr delete?

@@boosteddave4603 I have a 2003 Lariat 5.4, and I keep getting the P0401 code...I have replaced everything in the EGR system except for the EGR tube itself. Could that be the problem? If not, then I may just delete the EGR and say screw it.
what do you do with the other sensors pigtails ( connections) ??? also I had to rap Teflon tape on my t connection what size of T connect did you use T.I.A

I have a stock 2003 harley I plan on doing the egr delete boost bypass My only concern is codes I know on the sct tuner have the option to turn off the egr system .. or do i need an actual tune..
@@boosteddave4603 I am running single blade accufab/ twin 255 pumps/ jlt intake/ new coils/ tr6 plugs/2600 sct MAF sensor still thinking 28 for gap with a jokerz port..
Now I have longtube headers and my headers have a spot were the egr vavle screws into to. What plug would I need to screw into the headers since I'm removing my egr.

It just cleans up space for the most part. And makes it more easy for the spark plug change. And on this video I did the boost by pass.. for the actuator to close faster. And get on boost a lill more fast.
Hey bro i have a question, do all lightnings have a lag when you strp on the gas and why? Great video by the way. I have a 04 Lightning, its fast but has a lag when you first strp on the gas.
Not really bro they shouldn't be any lag. But it depends. Some have a small hikup on wot and happens in between milliseconds. But u do notice it. Then full power. But some come down to bolt ons or sparkplugs. Or maff sensor or vacuum leaks. They all play a big roll and tune

Congrats on the svt lightning bro 💯. And for tuning u need to buy the sctx4 device to be able to tune it. And depending where u live. Find a good lightning tuner someone that know what he is doing. And what mods u going with
@@baileyjhonson5758 the sctx4 runs around 300 or 400 and some come with can tunes. Or u can buy it from any tuner u can pay for a email tune and works better
What do you do with the remaining sensors the ones that I had to unplug do I just tape them off is that gonna throw any codes because I followed your instructions of how you did it but it didn’t mention what you do with the plugs

I'm in need of the complete egr system, including brackets, etc. If you have one available, I'll purchase. I modified my 2003 F-150 HD, but want to put it stock again. I'm in California.
@BoostedDave no check engine light. Only mods are intake headers and throttle body. Not sure what dome pm is. Just got the truck. I don't know too much about them.
Depending where u cut it or if it broken.. when u do full exhaust u lose 1 or 2 lbs of boost..but if u just cut out the exhaust will run better.. but it better to do cattles for more gains

When i let off the Gass in my lightning I get a flutter sound by brake booster not all the time random. Sounds kinda like burnt out horn and someone pressing it like honk honk honk honk then it's gone lol. Had the dealer look no one can explain it lmao. Maybe one of you all can. But doing the egr delete now. I just wonder if it's doing it.
Hello there, how has the truck been doing so far after getting egr deleted? I read some forums saying that the engine temperature will go much higher without egr and will cause serious problems to major components of engine such pistons and connecting rods.....
Never had any issues like that on any of the trucks we done the same and.. tomorrow we will attending a cars and coffee here in San Antonio and we are taking the lightning... it's been running like a champ

The light will come on. Most of the time but u can delete the code and the light will turn off.. and it won't put your truck in limp mode. Nothing will happen to engine
Also I have a 2lb pulley on it and was told that I wouldn’t need to get a tune my truck is stock except for msd coil packs and flow master exhaust am I ok running it like that any advice is truly appreciated thank you so much for response

HI and thanks for the support and if u get dose code it normal when u do the egr delete. With your sctx4 u can delete them but they will come back put with time. It better when u get a tune and they will delete then permanently

I own a 2003 Lobo Harleydavidson 5.4 supercharged with the same fucking problem, I have replaced the EGR valve and that solenoid, checked all the lines, deleted the code and whatnot and the damn code still active, but not so sure if I can find that kit at the Autozone down here in Mexico. Any tips if I do not? Remember, there's no O'Reilly, Napa or Car Quest down here.....wait....E-bay??? I really appreciate it homs.
BoostedDave yea that’s what I have damn my starter won’t go in do I have to put the starter first then the header ? Any issues with starter being so close
@@boosteddave4603 I’ll let you know. I’m going to go tear out some more stuff out of the engine bay. I did about half of what you recommended so far. I can vouch for the fact that a lot of the parts for the lightning are interchangeable. In fact, the parts are better and make the 4.9L, at least, run like a scalded dog.

Is there a tutorial? I bought a lighninf last week but I have a vacuum leak, and I can hear air noise behind the supercharger, my hands won’t fit ... haha
Dose not increase power or Tq at all by the way it cleans up the engine bay and remove the sensor u don't need... really need. And makes it easier to change out spark plugs
@@williamdecamp7343 we done it for years now never had any issues with cylinder Temps change... with the data logs.. some ppl like it some don't we just get out customers what they want.. and power gains haven't seen any
I do have mods on my charger. I have 3.90 rear differential,stainless works headers and down pipes with hi flow cats.jlt intake with 87mm tb.jay green full tune. Braille 21 lbs battery and sultin of spark coils.i will soon port my intake manifold myself.
