Very pretty after, but I dont have art to display....I have office supplies. I need access to these things and it needs to be functional. I dont need a spot for grandmas elephant collection, I need function for the things that are not pretty. The bins with lids that she hates would actually be more helpful to me! You can always neatly label the bin so you know what's inside.
I am one of those people you speak of. A lot of time if I don't see it, I forget I have it which is why I leave it out and where my visual clutter comes from
Pairing like with like is the best option. Slightly translucent tubs which 'shield' the clutter from your eyes and clear labels. For example put stapler in with scissors, hole punch, rulers, paperclips, thumb tacks. "Misc stationary". I would keep the tubs out in open spaces originally (I have done previously) and when I feel confident that I know where the home is of each particular item inside. I move the tub into a cupboard or drawer. It's hard to go from being a cluttered person to someone who puts everything in its place and all of these video clips miss that step between, where your clutter is still out, in your space, in your face but it's ORGANISED. Putting like with like is just the safeguard for if you forget where something is. Like sticky tape for example. Christmas arrives, you haven't used it in months, time to wrap gifts. It's Misc stationary, you'll look where the scissors live because that makes sense.
As someone who is super organized, I agree; nooks and crannies are horrible for organizing. Open shelving is also wonderful for filing paper in pretty binders because there is nothing better than having things be easy to access but also visually appealing.
So much to think about. I have stuff in my office I don't use and can move into the garage cabinets. I like how the video made me think about keeping more organized. Very helpful.
I don't have a home printer. My computer is a laptop which would fit comfortably on the desk. The stationary and such would go in the cubbies. And reeeeally, the printer could go inside the cubbies if they're wide enough. And my shredder sits under the desk.
Ok. Im more into keeping room and organize home but my wife she keeps a mess on the room , table , kitchen, garage etc how can I help her to hate the mess and start to be the apposite?
Take a photo of it on your phone from a few different angles, then show them to her. It will help her to see with new eyes how messy things really are.
I must admit, I'm a shopaholic And kind of a clutterbug. My problems with this are 1. If you need to purpose a single room for more than 1 thing, your going to need organizational pieces. A spare bedroom in my home is now my makeup and craft room. There's plenty of things needed for both that Must be put away and 2. I Hate open shelving. The only things that I want to look at on shelves are books.
Well I don't feel the "NEED" and I feel she wears what she wants - and a truly beautiful woman and the totally bare shoulders does not seem appropriate for the position she is in.
