Heyy everyone! Hope you all enjoyed this video as much as I had enjoyed making it! I tried to make this beginner friendly so that everyone can follow along. If you have any questions, leave them down below. Keep in mind you can change up the design and use different colors for your liking. Also, don’t forget to check out my Pinterest account @ style with me. Thanks for watching.
Thanks a lot! I hope you try this out and you can swap the design to your own and use the stitches I showed to make your own! I will work on more vids soon hopefully🙂
So I wanna do this for my little sister’s shoes for Christmas and I have a quick question, what’s the embroidery glove for? Wouldn’t it be easier to just wear the whole glove?
The embroidery glove is to make it easier to pull the needle through the fabric because it can be quite hard to pull through without it:) and I just like to cut it so my other fingers can be free and not get hot during the process because you only need to use 3 fingers! But you can totally just leave the glove out or not cut it at all!
Did you have any trouble pushing the needle through the ticker part of the show near the heel? The high tops have this thicker piece near the heels that make it hard to push the needle through. Maybe I just need a thicker needle? Also one more question. How do you properly start your needle/thread? You loop it through the needle and then tie the two pieces at the end in a knot?
Ok I can answer the first question bc the same thing happened to me you don't ha e to do it all the way near the hill especially if u have a not so thick needle j should move it up a bit. Now for how to thread it idk my dad did it for me
Thanks for your questions! So just like the person above said, you don’t have to do it near the hill because that area is thicker than the rest however, a thick needle just makes the job easier. To answer your second question, you cut a piece of string that you think will be enough, cut it, thread it through the needle you’re using and leave a little hanging so the string doesn’t come off the needle completely. Then you can tie a knot at the very end. I hope that makes sense! Let me know if you need more clarification.
Tysm! I just used a medium sized embroidery needle from a pack. I think this is the pack I used www.michaels.com/dmc-embroidery-needles/M10216629.html but just make sure they are embroidery needles and are not too thin
Good question! It stays with the knot. If you are unsure how to make a knot you can find a quick tutorial online to help! I suggest threading through another stitch you made, and before it tightens all the way, pull the needle through that small hole to secure it.
I’m not completely sure what size the needle is but the embroidery thread is the standard size and I have mentioned how much of the string to use in the video :)
@@helenclairemurphy7518 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-f58woIqfz3o.html here’s a great video! Put the string through the nearest stitch then pull needle through the hole to make a knot.
Hi! here is a video that explains how to make a proper knot ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aQEbtmsC2fU.html start at 0:45 seconds for the proper way to make the knot. let me know if this helped.
How the heck do you the purple flowers I’m pretty sure I did all the steps right and yet I get this tiny dot not the pretty decently sized one you have??
