Can you help me ? I don’t know what I did but while rushing to go into the gym I made my actual “car alarm” on my vw go off - it went off for about 1-2 min I had NO idea how to turn it off - it eventually stopped . Can you tell me how to turn it off if that happens again- and maybe even what I may have done to make it happen ?
Hi Jay. I got a jetta 4 1.8T R model 2005 MK4. I got a problem that started with just the hooter beeping twice when i closed my boot. Thats been about 2 months. But now i have a bigger problem. When i close the boot it hoots twice and all my windows open. When i turn my headlights on and off it beeps twice and windows all open. Im loosing a bit of power now and then. Im broke i cant take it in. But if i could get an idea of what and where to look for the issue i can fix it myself. Any ideas?
My grandma owns a 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan. The lock indication sound does not trigger when she presses the button. I have went into the convenience options and the ATA confirmation is checked. Are there any other ways to get the beep to activate?
Hi. I enabled the ATA confirm. Enable the beep in VCDS 09-Central-Elektr. coding, but not works in my GOLF 6 GTD. Can you help me? (46-Comfort-Elektr. menu unavailable in my Golf VI, but available in my Golf V) Is is the problem? Thanks
This method does not work for 2012 Volkswagen golf in the US market. It is impossible to turn off the beep when honking unless you/a service tech can access the computer system. North American market golfs specifically do not give the driver the option to turn this feature off.
Dear Mr Pichardo, thank you for your easy how to lesson. I have a problem no one has been able to help me with. I bought a pre-owned 2012 VW Tiguan in 2014. There are phone numbers on it from the previous owner. I don't know how to delete them. I am unable to use the function because there are already too many stored. I've tried setting it back to the factory settings, but that doesn't delete them. Our local dealership closed about 4 years ago and the closest one is about 50 miles away. Try using accessory mode it's not too heathy for the engine to be going on and off. If you don't know how to turn on Accessory mode I'll tell you how. For turn key cars. Turn the key to the run position and don't turn it so much to start the car. Push button cars press the start button twice without putting your foot on the brake. Good!
Young Rios I’m on a new account. But air-conditioner drains battery in general automatic climate control doesn’t drain much more. you should be good for about 15 minutes in accessory mode
Pls help, can I disable seatbelt alarm? I put my belt, but at some point while driving, the alarm starts, so I have to grab my belt and adjust it to the right, then if I release my hand, the alarm starts...in short...looking for a solution to stop the alarm noise pls (Volkswagen Passat tdi 2011)

Mbongeni Mkhwanazi obviously if the alarm is armed it mean nothing it's just the purpose of this is so when u lock ur car you don't hear the beep anymore
no i didn't...i need to turn OFF the alarm so it will not absorb electricity from my battery.... my batter is kinda small and in 2-3 days is empty! my batter is brand new.
nikos t listen if ur alarm is draining battery u have serious electrical problem and you need to take to dealer so don't start getting butt hurt that u can't figure out something simple urself
Have a rental VW Jetta 2014. No controls on the right side of the steering wheel as shown in the video, so I could not use the method described. Did find that if I locked with the mechanical key there was no beeb. So problem solved. Note to self, try not to rent a VW Jetta in the first place.
how about is it possible to disable that annoying warning beep you get when inserting key or opening a door like the one at 0:30 its so obnoxious and sounds like a cheap Chinese clock
Redhouane Zamoum actually, in VWs etc. that beeping sound is a seatbelt reminder, if you start your car after you put your seatbelt it shouldn't make that sound
