Apple introduced the Full screen green line when user turn on no no go back and switch it off. We are buying a phone and getting a feature of that is stopping the phone forever Lol...
I desperately wanna join the greenline movement as well. The only thing bothering me is that a line or two ain't enough for my taste. I want hundreds of lines throughout the screen which in turn wouldn't constantly enslave me of messages, calls and updates notifications. If I could get those lines either by Diwali, Christmas or New Year, it'd definitely be the greatest holidays gift since forever.
damn! my perspective did a 270 degree turn I thought this was going to be a video about some silly app that creates a green line. then i thought it really was a feature. Kept us confused for so long. Well done! Now i have existential crisis.
Very subtle way of showing the frustration! 😂 My OP8T developed touch issues after update. I was able to roll back the update and get rid of the issue. However, after an accidental auto update, I was screwed once again, and no matter how many times I tried roll backs, the touch issues persisted. Tried talking to OP team via the OP community as well as Twitter, but they do not care at all.
Finally ,this is raised by some of the big tech youtubers .Hope others will do the same and this will eventually force brands to acknowledge this issue.
He means the issue of this feature only being available on expensive flagship phones. Don't worry bro, you can just pirate this feature and start enjoying.
Never stop making such videos man! I watched a beebom video after a long while and man consuming tech content out of a humour platter of a satirist is what it felt like
Bruh no that's not how it works....they release an update that messes with hardware itself (display in this case), sure you can fix something from software end, but you can't do the same from the hardware end unless you get it repaired physically
@@MohsinJesani95they already stopped the update and start working on this .....this problem is associated with software due to which hardware getting problem......as a user of realme flagship i can assure you they have stopped new update from last 2 months
Phones that aren't updated also got green line when overheated. The problem is not with the update. Updating a phone can sometimes be a strain on the CPU, and memory modules and the side effect of that, excessive heat could be the reason of green line. The issue is sub par quality displays of Samsung. A Samsung employee once told in secret that these displays are made to last only 3 months!
@@arjunkrishna1 💯 finally someone with facts , it's very true this problem occurs because of over hearting , every youtuber lazy do the deep research to get the real reason , they just watch someone else video and copy the same script
Now they made it interesting.. I got pink line on my samsung M52 5g.. 15 month old smartphone. Now to fix it i need to give them 8200 rs..eagarly waiting for the Rainbow feature on my screen🌈
😂😂 I really don't want to be in the same league. But it is a very serious issue and very sarcastically put forward by you. Hope these brands come with a concrete solution rather than just turning a blind eye on consumers.
even if they are offering free screen replacement, most of us are depended on our smartphones for day to day tasks (uber, upi, clg etc.). And we can't just keep the smartphone in the service center for even one day.
That's right actually I had it there for a Battery Replacement for like 3 hours and had some issues like someone called me meanwhile and it was important but I didn't have the Phone
Bro it is just for only one day nothing much will happen. Take the Sim card out and put it in someone else's phone you trust and attend your calls. At least getting a free screen replacement from a company is much better than being ignored by them.
No big tech youtuber is talking about this issue.i appreciate your work for bringing this issue in front of everyone. This video is much needed thank you .I have Samsung s20 plus and I am facing issue may Samsung will look into it.
The best video so far, I had Vivo x70 pro and it got green line as well, after waiting for 15 days they told me display won't be available soon and offered me Vivo v27 pro and I accepted that offer.
Lcd screens are very reliable. I used a phone with half of the screen almost gone because of a very hard drop but the touch still worked and it was intelligible enough to use for a couple of days...
I didn't update for I don't remember but i was on Android 12 watching everyone else's phone in my friends so i didn't update after the release of 14 i thought i was gone i updated on march it was okay but 2 week ago i updated again Well I'm now a proud owner of green line thanks OnePlus. I'm never letting anyone have this feature ever again as long as I can.
3:49 is the lit moment bro. Definitely, as an Iphone user i know how it looks like( since i updated to 16.6, sadly) but your green line looks much more crispier, not irritating at first and feeling like holding a neon light on screen 😂 Jokes aside, but it feels so bad getting a sudden green line on iphone post update and screen replacement costing a new branded Android phone. Its time to reconsider now while purchasing these high end ₹ phones.
Held off the 16.6 update on my iphone for over a month but just proceeded with installation after watching this video. Hope I get the new feature too 😂
@@tanmaybahrani5946haha, wait for some time then post update( if it can come, it will show in couple of days).& If it doesn't came, be happy in other way as you will be the few ones who can stand and say, that green line is just a rumour for an 😅
Bro what a video and how did you come across with such a great content. ,it is a treat to watch,by the way you have raised the issue in a great manner, hats off to you and your dear team, loved it.Thanks.
Great job. Thanks a lot for addressing the issue. The service centre asked me if there was a valid warranty period. Luckily my mobile was under warranty period hence they changed the screen.
I got green line on my vivo x60. Went to the service centre and they changed the display (cost 9500) for free even though phone was out of warranty. No questions asked
Updates are not the reason behind green lines, as many people who either use custom roms or just don't update at all, even they got these display lines on oled. It has to do with either poor quality control of oled manufacturing (especially with their connectors since they're extremely fragile), lack of adequate heat dissipation, or batteries expanding over time (possibly due to obsession over fast charging or just poor quality batteries).
