@@Dwhinery true. I get your comment of the slant. I’ve shared about wellness for decades. Trust yourself. Do your own research. Maintain personal agency. Stop going to doctors with the belief that they know more. 💪🏼
Casey Means, MD, phenomenal interview, Louisa! Casey is one of few physicians truly practicing (and living) “HEALTH” care. Please have Casey back to focus on Gut Microbiom Health as an essential, an absolute necessity for nutrient “building blocks” to be absorbed, taken into the body for cellular use. Excellent video! TY
Reduce inflammation for good* It is still a protective hormone, like if you overeat it prevents the tearing of your stomach or if you get injury to the joints it protects you from further damage by adding that swelling. Obviously for sedentary people it can calcify calcium and cholesterol in the blood which is why movement is so darn important, especially after eating a big meal, going for a walk will help reduce that inflammation response but you don't want to end it all together
Good point. Acute inflammation is useful to let us know something is wrong. I'm sure both these intelligent ladies will agree with you. Chronic inflammation is what we want to help people to put an end to, using all the fantastic suggestions from this podcast. I know it's a video but I listened to it as a podcast.
@@TechHead03 it's also useful in protecting us, like when you eat a big meal, inflammation is sent to surround the stomach to prevent tearing, yet going for a walk after eating will massage the stomach and reduce the inflammation response, yet it also protect joints from further injury by packing itself like bubble wrap around the area. Reduce lol you can't end it. It's like folks afraid of cortisol yet wake up every day not even thinking how it happened 😏
@@LouisaNicola it seems that not everyone has the capacity to understand this nor willing to change their longtime habits. Here in the UK our health practitioners are trained to prescribe products from Big Pharma. Very few will discuss remedies to assist taking personal health responsibility. Thank you for an illuminating discussion. I wish there were more health professionals like you. Keep up the excellent work.
