I’m so excited! I just engraved my first item and it turned out perfectly. I couldn’t have done it without your video and templates. Thanks to your video, I felt like I had a personal tutor. Thank you SO much!
Thank you, Jennifer, for all your hard work, tutorials and free library items. You are concise and encouraging. I only got my Maker 3 at Christmas … you have taught me so much. My sweet dog sadly passed away unexpectedly a few months ago. I ordered your Amazon name plate suggestion and will attempt to create a name plate for her ashes in a wooden box. Thanks again, so much.
Oh Wow!! This is AMAZING!! You have NO clue how happy this video made me. My circuit maker is coming on Monday and I’ve came up with the idea of making my own labels for my bags. The thought of trying to afford them not only delayed me from starting but has stressed me out. This was so helpful and very informative, not to mention, very cool. This was a life saver and so are the Cricut machines. Thank you Jennifer 🙏🏾
SIGH, I’ve yet to purchase the maker - it’s only the EA II that I’ve embraced. It looks like a maker lies in my future. I absolutely love and appreciate your kind soul and your desire to share what you love as well as your knowledge with so many who crave such information placed into step by step tutorials. I have been a silent watcher for so long and I had to mention this. You’re truly my favorite of this on YT. You’re appreciated. Hugs from Kentucky.
I just have to tell you that I love you so much!! Before I bought my first Cricut I watched a ton of videos to do my homework and I quickly discovered you. You are my ALL TIME FAVORITE person to watch on video. The information that you have provided to me has been invaluable and has made my cricut experience a wonderful one!! I actually just upgraded to the cricut maker! I love how you give all the information, but do it in a very simple, quick, and precise way. I always find out what I need to know from your videos and I learn something new every time I watch one! Thank you, thank you, thank you for what you do!! You have made my life so much easier and fun by watching your videos! I would love to meet you one day and be able to express my gratitude to you in person. Keep up the great work and know that what you do matters BIG!!
I did my first engraving after watching your video. They came out so nice. I was wondering why a couple were slightly off - you answered exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you for another great video!!
Thank you so much for mentioning that you only need to purchase the tip if you already have the scoring tool bc I was about to buy the whole thing.. Haha you probably just saved me 50 dollars! Thank you again! Love your videos.. 😊
Another clear, quick moving video explaining something I thought would be much more difficult. I didn’t think about centering the blanks on the mat, sure glad you did! I ordered some blanks last week then realized I didn’t know how to line up the type in them! Thank you!
Hi Jennifer, i have always found youtube to be the best tool in the toolbox, and i have now discovered the best demonstrator. Your cricut presentations are masterful without any waffle at all. Thanks very much from the UK
You have no idea how much this helped! My first attempt was a failure despite taping, but I wasn't doing it right. The centering trick was a life saver! Thank you so much!
Your videos are AMAZING! So detailed and informative. THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing your expertise and also your files in your library. I've only had my Maker (and now Joy) for a few weeks, but friends are already calling me an expert! HA...and it's only because of all the info I've learned from you! Thanks SO much!
Love it! You were so thorough! It was fun seeing you engrave different items 😊 Glad you mentioned the font pricing vs free with access. I see people get confused on that so often! Looking forward to your working with leather or faux leather!
Had to make tag for a friend as a gag gift. Followed the tutorial along with you...and just caught myself before I hit the Go button. I had typed Hunter instead of the name I needed! Awesome tutorial!!!🥰
This is my first time watch one of your videos and I absolutely love your very easy style of teaching - which is why I have chosen to subscribe to your channel and download your videos, as I know nothing about the Cricut and all it does!! I do not currently own a Cricut but am in the plans of hopefully purchasing one very soon, so please keep those videos coming as I will need all the help I can get!!! Thanks!!
Joe Cornejo I was talking about this particular vid and the tool she used in this vid is for the maker only. Yes you can get an off brand engraving tip for air 2 but the air 2 dome not have as much pressure as the maker
I love watching you! I'm a newbi so I don't know what everything is just yet, but you explain things in a way that makes since. keep up the good work!!
Thank you so much for this video. I am about to get one of these and engraving dog tags was one of the top things I’d like to do. Your video was very clear
Okay ... been trying so hard to hand stamp jewelry until I saw this video. Just placed my order and CAN'T WAIT to start using it!!!!! Thanks for such a GREAT VIDEO!
I have it on but just must have accidentally deleted it. It must have been close to other posts that I deleted. I do unsubscribe to some people but it takes a while for them to stop posting, according to them. I know when I view your posts because I have been following you for two years and always thumbs up since I purchased Cricut Explore Air 2. Your name popped up first and I've followed ever since.
I loved this tutorial and how pleasant and thorough you are. I immediately subscribed to your channel. I have had my Maker for about a year and it makes me feel intimidated so I tend to put it away and not use it even though I have a million ideas of things to do. Right now I’m only making t-shirts, but the dog tags are my next project this weekend and you made it look so easy and I love the step by step so thank you so much!!!!
Jennifer, I can’t thank you enough for this video!!!!!. I used your techniques to engrave a acrylic blank for my grandson. It came out beautifully, is there a way that I can show you how beautiful it came out?
I have ordered a maker and can't WAIT to get it! I have the Explorer Air 2 , wish I had found Jennifer before I bought it, but I will have two Cricuts to make more items!
I made my very first engraving project!!!! Thank you! One thing. I had a difficult time attaching all my stuff together. I finally figured out that I needed to "select all" then "attach." Was this something that I missed in your video or did I just get lucky? Thanks for all of your great help! I think I'm on a roll now.
Thank you so very much Jennifer. I will be starting my first engraving project today. Your "How to Engrave..." video is so informative. Thanks again; especially for not going too fast.
@@JenniferMaker I made your wonderful Cricut Paper Flowers today. You are a God-send and a wonderful teacher. With your help, I am having a great time becoming familiar with my Cricut Maker. So much still yet to do and discover. Can not thank you enough. 😃
Love this tutorial! The only thing that I think is missing is the instruction to be sure you measure the item on which you are engraving and make sure your word is measured out to that size before you go to the "make it" step. I followed all the steps exactly, then when I went into the "make it" step stopped myself before cutting & measured, then when back and adjusted the size of my word to fit my little disk. Saved me from messing it up and turned out not bad for my first try at this. Can't wait to do more!
Jennifer I found a way to line it up with the template. I hid all of the tags except the one I a using. center both images up in the center of the mat as you suggest. After centering it click the template, ad click the 3 dots at the top left corner. Choose hide, and then "cut" now your image is exactly where it is and no mistakes with the holes on the tags!!
Yes! It all worked pretty well. 2 problems i worked out- 1. the masking tape mustve been too sticky because i peeled it off and about 50% of the glue spots on the mat came up too :-( changwd the tape & better. 2- even though it was centered on the mat it kept engraving a tad high. So the 3rd time i centered it horizontally but a bit high to compensate and engraved on center
I absolutely love everyone of your videos, I can not say how much energy and wasted time you have saved me! That being said I am equally in love with the big blue mat I see in all of your videos. Can you share with me what it is and where you found it (or created it with your mad skills?). Thanks lovely! Huge Fan from Georgia!
I always look to you when I need to create something. You are so good at instruction. I have solid brass 1x3 plaque plates I am trying to engrave. I followed your instructions and everything looked good but for some reason the print did not line up the way it should have. I will figure that out. Anyway, when finished I cleaned the plate and applied the enamel to darken the letters and it did not work. On top of that the engraving is more like an etch. The engraving is surface not deep enough to take the enamel. What could be the problem?
Hi Jennifer, thank you for the tutorial. It’s really helpful. I just ordered my maker and I can’t wait to try this. However, I wanted to fill the letters. Do you have a tutorial for how to fill the engraving? Thank you☺️
I love it i have looking like this years jewelry maker and craft maker thank you only have the cricut for about a week Im ready for projects just happen to have new blankets Helena
