I thought I was weird being a loner in school now I love it. If I knew then what I know now I would keep a book with me, listen to podcasts, or practice a new hobby and not be concerned about being left out. Plus I personally believe that God was protecting me from people who weren't supposed to be in my life because I wasn't as picky about who I let into my space. Whew! Growing pains 😅

I can realte to this so much. I am always feeling lonely because I have no friends but I know it's because I am toxic to be around. So I am on a self work journey to become less toxic and rid myself of the negativity that is pushing everyone away. It's been hard. But this video really spoke to me. Ty!

Im so glad to be finally be in the time of my life where I have no problem spending time alone. In fact, i crave it at least once a week. As someone who's been single most of my life, its something that has to be dealt with. But it used to be tough. I would wish for the guy i liked to reach out to me and check on me or wish for friends to think of me when i am alone and it would feel the worst when no one is reaching out and you're all alone. But now, when you're not in that mindset of waiting or being desperate you feel good, you feel powerful and comfortable spending time by yourself and getting things done and learning about yourself. Thank you for bringing up this topic. As a hopeless romantic, i havent given up on finding love but still enjoy learning to be more than happy to enjoy my own company.

I used to be so comfortable with my alone time and even cherished it. Then I met my first love/bf and we were inseparable. I just broke up with him and it’s been so hard to be alone again. This video gave me so much strength and encouragement that I can get back to that place again. Thank you!

This came at the right time. I find when the weather starts changing I get less social and more isolated, and although I’ve lived in Toronto for 14 years now, I find it’s a really hard city to make friends in and I’ve been feeling really disconnected and like I don’t belong here, like I don’t have community.

This is so hard for me. I wish I had mornings off to do what I want to do. I literally work from 7a-3:30pm every weekday and I feel like I have to rush home to do all the things I have to do before the day runs out. I try to do things alone on weekends, but not having a car and not being able to drive makes it so much more difficult. Spending time alone inside is okay until it gets a little too repetitive 😔 I feel like I don’t have time to for myself when all I do is work and do chores after work ☹️

I'm going through something like this... I'm living by myself, in another state, working remotely... i'm far from my family, single for a couple of years, i have Just a few friends that I have no frequent contact and, since I moved here, not doing much around other than working from home. But I like my company... The problem is that I'm enjoying the peace of being alone and that is making me a lonely person... And It makes me feel that I'm getting weird 😂 and losing opportunities of having fun in life.. (Writting from 🇧🇷)
