How to enter a frequency into the uniden UBC125xlt 

It's a lot easyer than the AOR 8200 MK3..

Yes, I'm using the software too, does make it easier, but it's surprising how many people still struggle with manually programming!

The icom may be a better radio, but then it's considerably more expensive than the uniden! I don't think you'll be disappointed with the uniden.

Got icom R30 Great radio uniden 125 very good icom R6 good as well

It's a very good scanner and well worth the money. Fortunately there are plenty of instructional videos on RU-vid and theres also a dedicated Facebook page which is useful. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Sorry for all the questions, just found your videos and they've been very useful to me as I've just started looking into the hobby.
