Nice video. Can I change the frecuencies step to search? I obseved in Air channel advance in 83 in 83 numbers. And 456....frecuencie advance in 62 to 62. Thanks
im thinking of getting one of these but i was wondering what sort of range (in terms of distance) do you get with this radio and what antenna do you use because im not sure if ill pick much up from my location (11 miles from bristol airport)
You'll do quite well. I can get Bristol from my home location in Dorset, so they pick up really well. You should also be able to pick up traffic on the water too, seeing you won't be too far from the harbour. They definitely work better outside, but with an antenna upgrade, you should do well. I use a Watson w881 on mine.
@@riflesrigsandradios4636 thank you very much, i really appreciate the information, your video was very accessible and informative by the way, great job!
@@cjdub5437 thank you. I've neglected the radios a little bit lately, so hopefully going to get back into it over winter. 5ye shack needs a makeover and 8ve got a couple of new antennas to put up, so hopefully some new content will be following soon.
You havent set the Search Banks To Scan Air Civil set a bank with hi freq of 136.0 and lower Freq of 118.0 Have you not set delay time to hold on a freq found, max is 5 secs Use a PC free Software to programe and to Control the 125 Scan 125 ..ARC Software
What's your location?? There's usually something to pick up. Also the telescopic antennas don't seem to perform the greatest, but that's not to say you wouldn't pick anything up at all. If you scan the airband frequencies, you should certainly pick up something. Make sure your squelch isn't set too high as well.
