Leadership is the responsibility itself.because when leading a group of people, you are changing them influencing their lives and adding experiences.once you do this you are responsible of their change.if you don't take the responsibility.then you are a bad leader😊.
I disagree that everyone wants to be a leader. There are many who do not want that responsibility. But, I definitely agree that many don't want the responsibility, especially when something goes wrong.
I agree. 👍 💕 💕 My prayers for the betterment of the world. 🙏🏼 Hoping for peace, happiness, health, prosperity, and healing. 🙏🏼 Amen. ❤️ Trust God more in the end times, do help as many people as you can, sowing good karma for your future. ❤️
1. Learn from other Leaders 2. Work to build Skills 3. Believe that you are a Leader 4. Take up more Tasks 5. Share your Ideas 6. Listen to Others 7. Learn how to Delegate 8. Treat other Leaders with Respect 9. Know that there are many different types of Leaders
BlueSea I believe you work at the level you want to get paid. Not the level you are paid. I find myself getting angry at other leaders that do the bear minimum
Leaders are listeners. The most successful leaders know to ask questions and not to answer them. Those who don’t rush to give advice are usually the most trustworthy. Those who stop long enough to really listen will invariably give the best advice, if they give any at all.
Leaders constantly learn and never think they know it all. They walk their talk. Shows confidence by having good habits and always comes prepared. Thanks for this awesome video. Happy new year.
Great point about learning from other leaders’s failures. As leaders it’s a given that at some point we will fail but we can try to mitigate failure by learning from the past experiences of others. Thanks for bringing that point up because failure teaches us more than success.
I've been established as a leader somewhere, I did it by taking up as many tasks as I could. My group knows that I'm ready for anything and I'm fully confident in my ability to do the job. It's a challenge, but challenges help us grow, I will keep moving forward and be a great leader! ♐
*An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity! :)* This is my definition of a true leader!
Web-Slinger That’s a great idea. I just don’t worry about them, but I’ve come across so many. Including some really bossy and condescending ones. But my goal is just to practice the opposite of that!
Living Delightful Freedom If i'm in the same groupwork with them i just don't care if they see themselves as leader but i just evaluate their decisions about the group like if they are logical or not and try to give the best advices for the group i can without trying to take the charge of course. Making the better calls for the group is more important than trying to take charge
i like this vid because when i was a kid, my classmates always pick as a leader just cuz I'm the most academically achieved regarding the grades but I'm always chicken shit and I always run away from responsibilities that time until they realize that I'm not a good leader. I'm just good at books lol. but now I am redeeming myself and trying to lead in a mobile game team and I just needed this vid to see if my actions are correct as a leader and to keep track on it so that the members wont suffer. i never thought becoming a leader is so complex especially for someone like who mostly avoid social interactions but this opportunity will give me skills in the long run. thanks practical psychology
Leadership takes work. And you have to take responsibility, especially when something goes wrong. True leaders don't blame others. Thet find out what went wrong and fix it so it doesn't happen again.
There, and added a bit more. 1. Learn from other Leaders --> and let others learn from you. 2. Work to build Skills ---> and actually practice it. 3. Believe that you are a Leader --> and act like one. 4. Take up more Tasks ---> wisely, not just any task. 5. Share your Ideas ---> and/or help build other's ideas. 6. Listen to Others ---> and empathize and take action. 7. Learn how to Delegate ---> but retain responsibility. 8. Treat other Leaders with Respect ---> and everyone at work. 9. Know that there are many different types of Leaders --> just be yourself...but be your better self.
Thanks so much for this video! I’m trying to put together a course on leadership and watching this for comparison really help me on how I can make it better! Love the content as always man!
Listening to others will teach you so much! Listening has built trust with the people I work with, and everyone else, for that matter. That alone has enhanced my roll in life. I'm a quiet leader, I would say.
Absolutely love this video! Thank you so much for putting this together. Extremely helpful plus valuable tools." Learning I can embrace, and grow. Appreciate.
The #1, like really #1 trait of a leader is INFLUENCE. It's moving people, it's motivating people. Getting them to feel, hear and follow your vision. What is a leader if they're not leading anybody? Let's geddit for 2019. #Becomeyourbestself.
That's not leadership. It's manipulation. And if people can be swayed by such things, they're probably not the kind you want following anyway. Weak minds.
I agree with you Sir Tahj. Leadership is not fear, manipulation but influence, inspiration, motivation and empowernent. I learned this from John Maxwell books that i read. As a result, i also impart my knowledge, experiences thru my own channel last month. Visit and watch my channel. Thanks.
Leadership is not only supervising and taking responsibilities of task or project. They are the one who needs to take care the development and problems of each member in a team. Not only sharing the ideas also share the feelings according to the situations. Collect the feedback without any employee ID or follower ID by which you can able to know your true leadership quality and also the followers or employee can talk up free.
Leaders focus on high-level objectives such as inspiring and motivating the team to success, which can be exciting and powerful. Managers focus on organizing, planning and overseeing daily operations and that can sound mundane....
Great points! I've always loved John Maxwell's definition of leadership. He says "leadership is influence; nothing more, nothing less". And yes, influence can be positive and negative and what matters is the choice we make with how we use our influence - to enrich someone's life, or bring them down. It's something that always makes me think and consciously choose how I act.
Other People: watch the video to become a boss or to start a company on they're own. Me: watching the video to prepare myself to maybe becoming a good dom. Still a good video. Thank you for uploading the video ❤
Awesome video my friend I will have the people in my company that are striving for leader ship roles to review your video. Good job a lot of good common sense 👍
What a great take on the idea of furthering ones career, best put more than paid for in one position. What a great take on the idea of being a successful leader. Oh wow gobble to the many in the hopes the few can finally overcome the worries of the few faced with the task of training new apprentices in the hope to make money for so many above me
I like this video, some good tips if your stepping up in your career or something and need practical advice. What I will say is though often the people who become leaders don’t intend to, they don’t want the status to be Individual to them because they know they are nothing without their team and the recognition should be shared. ‘It’s not that if you become a leader everyone will acknowledge you, it is the ones who are acknowledged that can become leaders’
thanks, as an ENTJ (mbti type for dummies) i was quite surprised when i got that type, althought i agree with it, i never really knew how to manage others, this video helped me greatly.
Learn from other Leaders - this should include learning from bad ones, the type who belittle and demotivate their workers. As a trainer/ teacher I learnt from bad one who were bullies and who lack patients. In short learn from their failings so that you don't go down the same route as them.
I hate it when I just want to sit back and coast but whoever's in charge is doing everything so wrong, you eventually have to take over for the sake of not wasting time.
I'm spellbound by this. I read a book with similar content, and I was completely spellbound. "The Hidden Empire: Inside the Private Worlds of Elite CEOs" by Adam Skylight
For some reason everyone looks up to me to guide and I’m shy and nervous! But for some reason every time the time is stressful and no one has the power to step up. I get a boost inconfidence and start controlling and coming up with a plan. Ik it’s weird
I agree Sir. Leadership is not for everybody. Leadership is a choice and leaders have essential skills and not everybody has this skills and interests in leadership.
PLEASE copypaste your script/a summary of the video in the description I would really appreciaite it Great video btw, I hope your channel takes off again like before
Hey everyone been mentally preparing for my club team tryout. Been on the team for 5 years but there is a better one that I wanna try to make. I’ll update when result come
Great video and thank you for making it. I’d suggest you speak a little slower. Half way through it felt like your yelling at me and I started to tune you out.
This reminds me of the old George Washington thing. He was such a great president because he didn't want the job. It was a tremendous sacrifice for him because he'd already been away from his farm for so long in the Revolutionary War. He just wanted to go home and retire, but he didn't. And people respected him tremendously for making the sacrifice. So as a general rule, the best leaders are those who don't want the job. This ensures they take it for unselfish reasons.
hey can u make a video on what is a personality and different components of it like speech, body language, walking style etc and how to develop your own unique personality?
I got chosen to be class president even though I don't have hat it takes, great leadership, and being responsible. It's my first being chosen and I hate getting the burden to myself. So I'm finding ways to atleast be a good leader.
brother i love to watch your videos but you have to speak little bit slow. your info. is so useful but i just cannot understand everything properly. happy new year to you & your family. love from INDIA.
