People think of chest & head as separate voices or placements & it's all 1 voice... it's all taking place in the face! i see soooo many teachers here on youtube not properly express this or even at all & THIS IS the ultimate technique !!! People say don't sing with the nose or confuse that for singing nasal but singing into the nose prevents nasality. I actually think it's equally as important to have a nose as it is a mouth.. You can sing without having to force your mouth open much & so many coaches & professionals on here are serioiusly teaching the wrongggg thing. Madelaine Harvey is a great voice teacher & she teaches how to sing properly same with Tina's Vocal Studio.!
You don’t know how much this video helped me. I’m in a choir right now and it stresses me out how I just can’t seem to project my voice even though I can feel the vibrations in my chest. I thought what I was doing was right when all this time I was singing through my throat which was actually damaging! From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much 🥹
This has helped more than you can imagine. I’ve been super frustrated with singing recently. This has reminded me of where the placement should be. Now when I watch self tapes back/sing into the mirror, I’ve noticed I am keeping so much tension in my neck. You’ve helped me find that placement again. Thank you
Loved these exercise. They were great. Her videos about breathing, and getting your voice to come to the mask, has REALLY helped me. Thank you all so much for these videos. Singing with the 30 day exercise every day. ❤️
Well now! I was able to go two notes lower than you that time! The relaxation part is brilliant- will work on that. I find hitting really low notes harder after having some higher ones (a song with a wide range between verse/chorus for example) - will work on the relaxation at both ends of the spectrum.
