Its freaking amazing bro. I have a great ear but i couldnt find where that perfect air to vocal cord push and control really came from. If you have ANY decent type voice at all this will bring you another level. It's basically the secret that those who have the gift already do
I’m a metal vocalist and we use the same tips when it comes to screaming, anyone who’s learning to sing or scream should use this as a guide for healthy breathing techniques. This video was awesome!
By far one of the most helpful teachers EVER on RU-vid. I can't stress enough how invaluable your lessons are, and I didn't realize just how great/advanced your techniques and lessons are until I looked elsewhere and found an IRL voice teacher 😭😭 Thanks so much for everything you do!!!!
Thank you im trying to recover my voice from a bad car accident and a brain injury and this is helping soo much i do have dystonia now which makes it more difficult but damn the difference your series has made is allowing me to regain my voice again and i cannot thank you enough.
Christy Thomas Thank you for sharing your story-it’s inspiring! I’m so glad that the lessons are helping, and I wish you much continued success in your recovery 🙏🏽❤️
Start off Gently... Me: looking for lyrics to Whitney Houston’s ( I will always love you) And iiiiiiiiiei will always love youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu, ooooooooooh
I've been in virtual voice lessons for a year now and I haven't been able figure out what support is supposed to feel like in my body. THIS REALLY CHANGED MY SINGING THANK YOU SO MUCH AHHHHH I can't thank the algorithm enough for recommending your videos to me!!
I'm an opera singer and I try to learn more about pop singing; this is exactly what we are learning in our studies to start singing healthy and over a great period of time! You are really great ☺️😃
I've searched high and low for this answer, I was always holding my power around my throat. And video after video I've tried many techniques with no real result. My throat area would always feel over flexed and felt as you mentioned like being pulled down or heavy soon as I tried to sing with ANY power. I know my muscle memory was to blame but I couldn't find where to redirect my focus. And man you nailed it, I'm just a guy trying to learn for fun and just amazed and happy you posted this. Thank you 🙏🏼
Just got back into watching your videos yesterday (for the vocal training series) and you upload today!! Stay blessed man your channel is so helpful 🙌🏾✨
Dude I've watched tons of singing practise/help vids over the years and yours always seem to fill in the blanks, you know your stuff and how to communicate it, thank you, so much
I’m currently taking your phase one master class and I can’t even express how wonderful that class is and how much I’ve learned. There’s so much work and organization and knowledge put into it I just want to say thank you for being you and doing what you do. Singing is everything to me and you’ve helped me be able to do what I love more confidently. Thank you so much for making an impact on my life!
Wow this intro is incredible I've been scouring youtube for a week before I found this. Exactly what I needed: isolating that muscle!! Now I can work it out!! I'm dying to learn more and will definitely be checking out your very reasonably priced series on the matter. Thanks so much!!
Eric, I just (by a miracle) found you on RU-vid. I have studied voice for decades beginning at Baylor University. Studied with many voice coaches through the decades. However, you top the cake! Your awesome explanations are food for my soul. Very grateful for you, especially after coming back after COVID year. Thank you!!!
Eric, the best thing about these exercises is that we can do them wherever we feel like it, and see actual improvements. Ever since your first course on breathing I be at my desk at work Z'ing and hissing all day. I'll definitely look into this new bootcamp.
I have watched so many breath control, resistance videos on RU-vid and yours are by far the most helpful and most understandable for a newbie like me to follow! Thank you so much !!!
Oh my god thank you i searched so long for training for the chest voice bc everybody speaks of chest voice but nobody explains how to use it and i have fighted for so long with tension in the throat. You‘re such an angel!
Eric, i have seen three of your videos. I have to say, your videos helps me and i will dedicate myself to working on these techniques. In hope's brings others in the church, and even to the choir. You are awesome!
This is so interesting. I'm an experienced singer who was classically trained, but I've never been taught this. And I sure do want to slightly extend the range upwards in my chest voice. Thank you😊
I know this sounds like an exaggeration but you have literally changed my life. I'm a professional Voice Actor and I held sooooo much tension in my throat while performing and singing. I could tell something was "wrong" with my voice despite booking a lot of gigs over the last 8 years of Voice Acting. Today was the first day I felt like I was speaking/singing with MY voice. I worked today and sang and felt ZERO tension in my throat. My voice finally sounds full and powerful and my ability to stay on pitch felt like second nature. Thank you so much for this lesson!
found a vocal coach, but I think in truth I need to be taught by you. You are always my go to, ever since I was 14... I'm 20 now! Once out of my month agreement, definitely going to head to your website and be in your bootcamp!!
Thank you so much! This is the first video I've ever encountered on RU-vid that has actually helped me to understand how a chest voice works, and how I can actually develop it. I feel like most other teachers emphasize ways to develop it that are actually harmful for your voice, and that's coming from past experience.
Hey, I want to thank you for making this video. I've been recorded and toured as a rapper for years and started working on becoming a singer a couple years ago. You taught me how to keep that muscle engaged and it made me sound better instantly. Thanks!
Dude you have no idea how long (20 years +) i've been looking for someone like you! Straight to the point, none of those beat around the bushs. Thank you , i'm a gonna start working from this and i'll keep you posted. Cheers and God bless
Man I’m a saxophone player and it’s exatly where I push it for feeling me more comfortable on my trought...so really appriciated to see you!!! You are amazing! ✌️🙏 so really thank you!!!
Eric, don't feel bad for advertising! You have been more than gracious with free information and lessons. You are the best on the planet at what you do. No shame in advertising because you're lessons are worth every penny! I absolutely love you!
Working out these muscles and others are so important, and the benefits are not immediate, but with training, we begin to do heavier lifting! Thanks Eric, this was one I hadn’t discovered yet.
