How to extend hose bib / water spigot to the other side of your house or lawn | DIY, PVC extension

In this video I show you how to extend or add an additional water spigot to the other side of the lawn. We use PVC so the installation is semi-permanent and does not have unsightly long hoses and no chance of hoses with leaks and replacements. It can still be disconnected for winterization.

Can you bury PVC in the ground with no issues or do you have to do anything special if you do? Nice video, really appreciate it. Got to see if I can figure out the stuff you used in the video now that I am on my computer and not my phone.

You can bury it, but if it is not next to the foundation, you may want to wrap it with a metal wire so you can locate it with a metal detector if you ever want to dug in that area. Or, at the very least, draw a VERY detailed map. You also may want to check your frost line. If it is buried deep enough, it may save you from it cracking when it freezes.

No issues at all. So much so that this season I have 100% only used the new faucet connection since it’s in the middle (more convenient placement)

What size/type of pvc pipe are you using?
