For those who are new or only seen this video recently; i can confirm this works. it gives way more pep off the line (so once the clutch engages, it has more bite). i did try this first with a 6K clutch spring.. i don't recommend anyone do this because it will make the car a bit sluggish off the line almost stuttering i would say.. so 8K (or higher) clutch spring with this method.
Its not worth for me King motors lightened clutch costs 10$ The engine will rev up much quicker and will get a lot better response. And its 8000rpm too. A clutch will last for a long time when u have the closed cluch housing. Because sand lets the clutch wear out much faster A lot of big name drag drivers use the clutch an they are good with it.
