Besides the adorable design, I walked away with 2 amazing techniques. How to put card stock on score tape and the printing on cardstock was genius. I can't tell you how many times I've waited a whole piece of paper putting it in my printer and then having to do print and cut to cut out the card size. You rock. Can't wait to try this!!!!
Brilliant tip on flipping the white strip over and butting up the score tape. So useful for so many things! Cute card. I plan to make a couple dozen...
You couldn't come up with a more perfect video if you tried! ☺ It's timely, the instructions are detailed and inclusive, the tips & tricks are great, the filming and close up views are spot on, the templates & printouts are wonderful and will be so helpful.... Thanks for doing all the hard work for us so we can just follow along with the video and pause as needed. YT'ers don't get enough credit for all the time they put into making what in the end appears to be a simple process. I'm sure it's a labor-intensive act of love. THANK YOU!
Hi Scott * This idea is fantastic!!! Thank you so much for sharing it. I passed it on to my Friend in UK. Love your explanation, your artistic skills are precise & you love "miniature" things, just like me 🥰🙏❤️
I love you and your video's, thank you for making your videos easy to understand and follow, especially for us beginner card makers. Stay safe everyone!
Incredible!! I followed along with you and made this. You are an awesome teacher, you should do this more often!! I'm going to show my card on my RU-vid channel and give you a shout out and link this video in the description. Hopefully will bring you more followers. Going to make them to give my kids and grandkids!! Love it!!! TFS 💖🦋💖🦋
You are AWESOME! I love your card! I also love the way you printed cardstock cut to size taped on a piece of computer paper. That was BRILLIANT! You've saved me. I have used that tip all day while making this card. Thank you so much for sharing. Your video was very easy to follow. Stay safe.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this! As a “critical” worker, they have gotten VERY strict on our PPE. My birthday was on 4/7 and for my birthday this year, the only thing i got was Covid-19 tested! Thankfully, 10 LONG DAYS later I found out i was negative and took my butt back to work the next morning! Y’all be safe out there! ❤️
I made this mask for my daughter who works at a hospital. Every time I see her she has a mask on, so this was perfect. She absolutely loved it. I plan To make more. Thank you so much.
Thx Scott. I’m gonna send a few out to my retired RN lunch group. I’m sure to say something smart like “bet u thought you’d never wear one of these again”. I’ll gather supplies tomorrow since my neighborhood has no power. Expect return of power in two more hrs. Stay safe!! Happy crafting.
Love it. I live in NYS and I have been donating mask. I have made over 500 at this point. I am going to turn this idea into a tag and attach it to the mask I donate. Everyone stay healthy.
Hey Scott, haven't been here for awhile (formerly Pamela Bergeron) awesome card, I work at an essential facility and appreciate all the people that cannot work, I have you all in my daily prayers. I worked at a healthcare facility in Ohio and will be sending these cards to my former coworkers...thank you again God Bless and stay safe!
Thank you Scott for this tutorial. Your instructions are so clear. Your attention to detail is amazing. I can't even begin to guess how long it takes you to create your 10 cards/kit every month. I'm so slow it takes me forever. You are so kind to share your creativity. Keep smiling. Be well.
Just found you. This is a brilliant card. Can't wait to try it. My Granddaughter is an RN in Des Moines, IA. I am in Bellevue, NE. Stay safe and keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for sharing this card idea, Scott! I am presently making cards for some healthcare workers here in The Bahamas, just to encourage them and boost their spirits. I am sure cards like these would bring a smile to their faces! I too appreciated the extra tips with the score tape and printing on card stock, as I also am a silhouette studio user. Again, Thank YOU!
This has got to be the BEST card to make right now!!! I have been giving out plain old thank you cards to essential workers, but this takes the cake BY FAR!! Thank you for sharing!!!!
Just made two for my great nieces who are nurses, I’m sure they will like them. Had no problems following your instructions, only glitch was that I have no 1/8 “ tape but I figured out the solution for it & all turned out okay. Thanks again, stay safe.
This card is so cute and appropriate right now. Your instructions were so clear to follow. My best friend is a respitory therapist in a hospital and has been working her butt off. I’m going to make one of these and send it to her. She only lives about a mile from me but I haven’t seen her for a few months, I miss her face. You should give yourself the card that says your laugh is contagious because you have a great laugh.
Amazing, so unique 1st I’ve seen of a mask on a card. Can’t wait now for morning as I’ll be making a fair few of these myself. Great inspiration, thank you so much for sharing. Love ya videos keep them coming - from Manchester England xxx
This card is adorable, your video was great. The pattern was easy to follow like I mentioned the pleats were tricky for me but I’ve made a couple so far and it wasn’t bad. Perfect timing for this card, and you are hilarious to work with. Thank you
Hi Scott, Thank you for sharing such a neat mask face. I do plan on looking in on your next video, I also like the way you made a template for us and also 2 different greetings. I really enjoyed your video. I also like your humor. You have a way of making a card fun. Thanks again for sharing such a neat video.
Again, all I can say is brilliant. Thanks for the very detailed, wonderful tutorial and thanks to the ladies who worked with you. It's just as cute as it can be, and I see a little tiny face mask in my future. I wish I'd had this when I made masks and sent them to family. Woulda been SO cute!
I’m always so impressed by what you do! The changes you made to master this card and make it even easier is AMAZING. YOUR INSTRUCTIONS ARE IMPECCABLE. As a teacher I recognize that! Thank you for joining our group. We still can’t believe how lucky we are. CRAFT ON...we’ll be watching. Stay safe!
I’m a new subscriber & I ABSOLUTELY ADORE THIS CARD!! My youngest daughter & niece are both R.N.’s, as well as many close family friends. I can’t wait to start working on making some of these cards for them all! Loved listening to all your tips & tricks for this card! Very simple, plain instructions! I’m new to the card making world(I crossed over from my first love of Bible Journaling)as a florist by trade who because of health reasons can no longer work, I needed something to be creative so card making was it. I’m thankful for the easy instructions because some people don’t give the measurement like you did in this video & I LOVED IT!! Thank you so much!! Please stay safe & healthy! God Bless & the Love of Christ to you & yours!!
I love this! I am a healthcare professional and making masks for my coworkers and individuals in our building. I also am a papercrafter! Thank you for showing us these beautiful cards, I will make some too for the healthcare workers in the hospitals in St. Louis, MO.
