The easiest way is to only use one connector from your old turn signal for the LCI, without any modification, and leave the other old turn signal bulb connected somewhere outside the engine bay. it will not blink double afterwards.

Remove the top T30 torxes in the fender to give some space. The turn lights are held on with 3 philips screws. 2 top 1 back corner. Connectors dissconnect with 30 degree rotation.
