How to Factory Reset Hisense TV to Restore to Factory Settings

Thanks the unplug method worked once I disconnected my connections to satellite/cable TV which was powering the internet part of the board or seperate board. Then it allowed me to reset the internet connection which had been frozen for months . Thanks so much

How can you check the menu if the TV won't start. Duh!

Guys, I tried these steps multiple times and it worked. Step 1 - Remove the power from the socket. Step 2 - Press the TV power button for 30 seconds (Not in remote, It should be on the TV) Step 3 - Connect the TV directly to the socket after 60 seconds and turn it on. If it doesn't work, try it for 3-4 times. Also, check the number of times the power light blinks, it indicates what cause the problem. My case, it was 3 times and after repeating the procedure it was 5 times. And the next time it went on. Good Luck guys 👍

My TV won’t turn on, I’ve tried your steps and unfortunately, they don’t work, but I do thank you very much for your instructions. Any ideas of how to get my TV to turn on besides the steps that you’ve already mentioned. I have a remote control and I’ve tried the reset button on the TV and I’ve tried the power button on the TV and I’ve tried unplugging it all the steps you mentioned.

Was wondering why my bluetooth just cut out. At first I tried clearing my cache, but unplugging it for a minute worked. I don't have a button on my color dot uled with google play as far as I know, but unplugging for one minute then plugging it back in fixed it. Had a storm recently so I don't know if that had something to do with it. I've had it for a year it's been a real trooper.

My sister gave me her Hisense tv and it has not reset button...is that possible. There are no manual channel up or down buttons... nothing. Trying to set it up, universal remote wont work on it...keeps trying to connect to Amazon prime...is it a piece of junk

Won't power on, TV less than 4 years old and it doesn't get used half the year! TV longevity sucks anymore. None of these tricks got it going.

What if my TV is cycling off and on every 2 seconds? I think that is defeating the reset button on the back and the rest button on the bottom.

Hisense is a terrible brand. I honestly have no idea how they are in business. It's funny to see the amount of people who have the same issues as I do. All the tvs I have had, have lasted 5 years or longer. The 65 inch Hisense android tv we have is only 2 years old. So what does that tell you?

How about making electronics that don't go to the dump every couple years, wouldn't that save the environment?

this is basic info available at hisense! this isn't a new tip to fix a problem. mine has NO reset button, it has a power button under status light, which just turns in, blinks once & turns off. says hisense so tube & all that fine. but won't stay on. I need more than this because I reset mine unplugging 30x times trying this tonight, new batteries, did remote & power cord resets, tried different outlets, it's got picture or starts to then shuts off. that's all it will do. is there ANY help? so many are asking, just tell us the truth, is it broken or what?
