I've just watched a couple of videos demonstrating an avocado-related gadget. Halves, de-pips and slices avocados. Does little or nothing else. I like your "gadgets" better! ;)

@@avocadolovers8478 Thanks, but no thanks. It does exactly the same as I do with a knife and a spoon. I possess very few gadgets. They have to perform a function that I can't replicate with a knife or a spoon.

Yes, I usually bring my x-Ray vision when I shop for avocados. If you actually listened to what I said I use this for guacamole. We don’t throw away avocado because of a bruise. You would go out of business in 6 months
feylong19 You are right I wasn’t in the field picking them, I didn’t put them in the store and a bad avocado has nothing to do with the the whole avocado. So as a chef this happens all of the time. That’s why there is guacamole. Now go troll another channel donkey.

A chef would be cutting dozens of avocados a day, some are nice and green and good for service, some have brown spots and you use them for smoothies, guac or smashed avo on toast, important thing is to minimise waste Try working in a kitchen and you realise the chefs aren't out picking the avocados, that's the job of the supplier, the chef is there to make the best food with the ingredients they have to hand
