Getting level 60 champions is the key to enjoying Raid. You need to be as efficient as you can possibly be to enjoy Raid, especially as a free-to-play. As you grow towards endgame your tactics begin to change. I use Bluestacks for Macros to level food - can get it here and support my channel: bstk.me/uDIptG5xe
I know it might be boring but would you be able to do a short video on the macros you use/made in bluestacks? I think you said you've used it to farm the arenas and somewhere else that didn't make sense to me. I made one for runs and one for autoselling forge, but I think it would be cool to see how you or other people use the macros. It could even just be on your website. Love the content, you've helped me so much in progression.
You really need to do a dedicated video about champ training. I see you did bring it up, but it needs to be better explained. I did a thorough explanation for about a dozen in my group of clans. They say it has helped them a ton. They finish champ training in less than half the time it used to take. I can regularly take top 3 or even win champ training tournaments every time without spending any money.
I've been 'playing' raid for months but didn't have a clue really what I should be doing. Over the past week watching your videos I hopefully am now a much better player and know so much more about the best ways to play. Thanks.
I am trying to get 100 5 star food ready. why? because i am weird and i love stockpiling things. gives me a good feeling to be prepared for everything. 55/100 at the moment
Hahaha makes me feel good that I am not the only one. Right now I have 50 4* chickens, 20 5* chickens, 1800 of each brews, and 30k energy. And I am ftp.
Great guide for beginners, sent it to my brother who just started , 25 min video will save any beginner a load of trouble ….I wish I watched this when I started 😅
1* food can be done with x2 brutal 12-3 and x1 hard 12-3 , 2* can be done with x9 12-3 brutal and x1 normal 12-6 if you are low on mystery shards or you want to stockpile them more for events.
i farm with 1 stars when i'm trying to build up my storehouse of green shards. Because you need a lot of green shards for summoning or champ chase events. You can use the same trick for 2 star.. just requires 4 brews. I do that for 3 of the 2 stars, then i take them all for a single run 12-3 to max level them. (which you would do when your trying to achieve leveling events without using much energy, but the brew strategy uses more silver)
I usually rank up hero to 6 star on leveling event/tournament and level them to around 40 to maximize the point. After the event, then I farm them in minotaur for mastery and cap off the level.
yeah its way more efficient to level the champ first to 6 star, get it to about 40-45 then do mino and usually by the time its finished getting all the scrolls its maxed. I'm surprised hellhades didn't recommend this as its MUCH harder getting the final 10 levels from 50-60 then the previous levels.
During this weekends summon event, I used 2 level 1 rank 6 champions, (Sinesha & Geomancer) as well as a level 1 rank 5 War Mother along with 1 food champion to farm for speed gear in Palace of Aravia. Set to to multi-battle and forgot about it while I went out and made dinner and ran some errends, etc. Came back 100 multi-battles later I had Sinesha & Geomancer at 58 or so, War Mother leveled up and a handful of food champions leveled as well that auto-swapped in from the queue. Also had about 30 or so mystery shards, a bunch of champions farmed, as well as a few pieces of actually good gear for my progression in the game. Point being, if you're working with 2 rank 6 champions that are decently geared, they can level themselves and carry a group at the same time.
Always have 5 4* food in Sparring Pit. It doesn't care about XP Boost. It's also the magic number you need for one 6*. So effectively I only care about getting food to 4*.
Tbh without u talking about farming low lvl champs for food and using all ur energy doing im like wow makes sense so I've been using all my multi battles on it while I sleep so thank u so much
Relic Keeper can also be gained from a drop. My neighbor got him sooner than I did, but neither of us didn't need to fuse to get him. Most of the fuse champions can be gained through drops.
You should have mentioned that you can top off champions near level cap e.g. you're farming 12-3 and a 3* is now level 29 and has 70% or more XP already gained - just feed level 1s into them as "brews" to finish them off instead of wasting xp
One thing I would suggest for lvl 1 champs use a brew and then do one run of 12-3 brutal with boost on. ( only 8 energy ) I used a lot of mystery shards feeding common champs and found that mystery shards helped heaps in the mid game to help in summoning/champ chase events. Cheers Mr H
@@eddieman8534 I'm not sure what the averages are, just that you get 2-4 star gear instead of 3-5. I still think it's worth it when there's an event up and energy is precious
TIme is also a resource you need to consider, though. e.g. I could farm food by running Ice Golem 20 but my team already takes over 8 minutes to complete it so obviously if I'm trying to win a tournament it's going to slow me down immensely to swap any of my main team for food. Running a lower level might be an option but you need to weigh all the factors.
add one more idea (more end game): if you are leveling almost any damage dealing character to 6* lev 60, you can gear them up at about lev 40-ish (depending on gear) and then they can solo 12-3 for their last 20 or so levels... For some champs each run may be slow, but each run will earn about 34K and it is ultra efficient (no wasted xp for the campaign farmer)!
Great bunch of tips here, there's only one thing I would disagree with. For Minotaur it's actually better to bring a few champs for scroll farming. Think of it this way: If you can solo Minotaur and you bring 1 level 1 6 star champ, you will spend 2,000 energy or whatever it is to get all the scrolls and then you have to spend even more energy to get that champ to level 60. I don't have the exact number handy but let's say you need to spend 2,500 energy total to get a 6 star champion to level 60 and get all the scrolls, so if you do that with 3 champs, that's 7,500 energy. Now imagine you put all those 3 champs in Minotaur at the same time - now you only spend 6,000 energy, get them fully scrolled and levelled and you've saved 1,500 energy. Again, I need to stress those are not exact energy requirements, I'm just trying to illustrate the point here.
@@conorgreen3384 Exactly. I'm just checking my roster and I think 3 champs + lead is optimal. I did 3 champs full scrolls all to lvl 59 recently. Before that I run 1 champ + lead only and I got him to lvl 38 with full scrolls - tonne of energy wasted. Without XP banner it might be that 4 champs is more optimal.
One thing you should tell people the less people you have any portion dungeons the faster the Run, that goes for Minotaur , but you have to make sure you do not have any artifacts on them they have to die, for the food champions.
i know everyone says lvl up your starter but im telling you if you get bellower b4 u lvl up your starter you should go for him. and farm the rares for the faction guardians you can get them super easy from campaign. my bellower is smoking fools half way into nightmare.
You missed the tip where if the champion you are levelling could solo Brutal 12-3, there's no reason to finish his final few levels to 60 with a farmer - turn them into the farmer and get 100% XP efficiency rather than 75%. In fact, if they can't solo Brutal 12-3 but can solo Hard or Normal 12-3, using them as a Hard or Brutal farmer is still more XP efficient that 75% efficiency from using a Level 60 Brutal farmer.
Another point to add about minotaur: similar to the point you made about XP being spread out between all the champs you take to campaign, all the XP you get from minotaur gets spread evenly as well. So if you bring 1 "food" champ alongside 4 max level champs, the "food" is only gonna get 20% of the total XP, whereas if you can run 1 "food" with 3 max champs, he'll get 25% of the total XP Obviously this is more for people who are later game and have a bit better gear and can get away with using fewer champs, but for example my big'un can solo minotaur, so when I run him with a champ I'm trying to level, the "food" can get 50% of the XP instead of the 20% he'd get with running a full team Great video as always HH!
I'm just a noob but I think maybe the guardian ring is cool because it basically cuts off the hardest level e.g. the 39th level is the slowest before hitting the 40 ceiling but just throw him in the guardian ring & forget about him while you do other things & a day later ding! he's done. It seems similar to how a beer cuts off the 1st 9 levels
At 4:50 when hes talking about what artifacts you want with what stats. How do you get artifacts with up to 3 main stats all ready. Or is he meaning you have to upgrade the artifacts you get to see what substats unlock. But doing that would cost alot of silver?
So I am new to Raid, I have only played for just over a week. But I have a question about the gearing, you said to get the Boots, gloves and chest for Life steal, but you said to also get the speed equipment. Now My two questions about that are: 1) Am I suppose to have Boots, gloves, and chest for both stat bonus types? And if so, when do I use each? 2) Why am I only suppose to get 3 pieces? Or am I suppose to get the full sets, but only the stats on the Gloves, boots and chest matter?
Hi loved the vid. An farm dragon 18 but probably have to go back to compaign for gear. Absolutely thought I had bad el or one of the others with 10 percent chance today and I got bloodtwin. So my question is how good a clan boss team would be of bloodtwin, Geomancer, magnar, ninja, and a heal of your choice actually be? I’m stuck with doompriest.
Someone must speak about the 300 sparta seats in Platinum Arena this limit its so small with so much people in gold 4 fighting non stop for 1 seat in platinum an still most of them cant stay more than 1 minute there.....Ask plarium for change you have the power!!!
I think you are ready for '7 sec Camp Farmer' HH. I know you use Bluestack but it is a massive upgrade for a f2p or low spender. you probably have enough gear for Fellhound.
I know this is an old video but I was wondering the best place to farm my Kael to 6* Im assuming its somewhere in brutal. Prolly the best place to farm is the place I can solo him and on a shield level
Is there a certain place to go where you farm food and drink? Or do you just get them randomly through doing stuff and can you upgrade a rare card to a epic card or can you only upgrade a rare card to a six star rare card? . I came from rage of destiny it's a little bit more straightforward but I like raid because it's so complicated I just need some help figuring it out and all the questions that I have I can't find videos for or maybe it's in this video I just don't have time to watch theses really long videos
tbh i have seen requirement for upgrading hall bonuses and i was like just screw this i will do it in few months... i believe when game came out it was much more easier to get to gold im 1 month in and i have no chance to upgrade bonus to lvl 4 in less than few months
It's worth noting that you can solo Minotaur with several champions at I'll be able to do the same thing that you're saying with one character and get them all the way up to 60 in the same time frame as well as farming the mastery
Could you do the best champions by faction please? I ask because I just looked at the Legendary Dwarves and I'm not terribly impressed by most of them. Example: Mountain King: the best things I see about this champion are his name and his HP IMHO.
if a champion's abilities damage based on defense. do you want to prioritize defense gear instead of attack? seems like an obvious yes.. but wondering if attack helps defense based characters.
when should i be farming food? im still in normal and still struggling. my mains right now is sniper, and Elhain. i do have corpse collector, Shaman, adjucatorlv30, greaybeardlv30, and warpriest30, i do have rocktooth and avenger but i dont plan on using those except for fusion and or fodder. but im slowly grind xp for my main champ Elhain.
Good to remember free to play catches up over-time when payer starts to hit more and more doubles. Booking takes time, gearing takes time and silver to upgrade gear doesn't come fast. Saving books and chicken untill sure what will be usefull to upgrade saves also time. There are limits you can speed up any game.
I'm finding that RAID crashes fairly regularly in Bluestacks. It's been annoying to try farm over night only to find it crashed a half hour into it all.
I don't play the game like this. I like to play at my own pace, without feeling pressured to finish any content. right now, I'm concerned I won't be able to get Lydia, before the Shadowkin crypt opens. I can do it, I just don't want to be forced to do it, that is already making me enjoy less.
I agree. I enjoy the journey more than I enjoy "end game". I'm never going to be a player with all the champions maxed. So I better just enjoy playing the game because I may never be end game.
Hey Guys, this isnt hellhades, this is another Raid Shadow Legends subscribe. You dont Tell us how Important it is to level 1 Star. Youre telling us that you do with one Brew and a 3 1star Crew But didnt Tell us that is a such big difference! For a couple of Month i didnt do and was Always lagging shards and foodchamps. Since few days im playing 3 Times 12/3 to level 3 1 Star to 10 and make Them 2 Star. İt is a such big difference!
I pulld 1 yellow shard and got a dammn shamrock lol then I pulled all my bule s and only got a skullcrusher wish I wiated for x2 now lol so at least I have some food for upgrades to chicken s
At least this video confirms Ninja is worth 6 star and isn't food? or am I delusional on this point because I just 6 starred Ninja because I thought he was important good advice on the level 1s I found it very annoying to level 1 stars in Campaign so this is a good alternative because I get SO many... I am ALSO a fan of the advice to get Lifesteal and Speed gear consistently from Campaign because yes Dragon has better gear but it DEFINITELY can be infuriating to get specific pieces from the dungeons especially specific types of gear.
im newbie been using package 41 42 and power starter codes but im still having issues im in first place in the newbie tournament however, I seem to be stuck on stage 6 of the campaign and can't seem to lvl past it I have a bunch of food comps but dot know what to farm still in campaign stage one and have nothing higher then lvl 40 and stage four any advice.
I did auto battle x100 and got three war maidens but after and for some reason after I closed the rewards screen they disappeared and didn’t show up anywhere 😓
I have a lot of maxed out 6* champions but I feel like I cannot go past most stage 10 on donjons 😫 For faction war I cannot even kill 1 boss. And dont even tall about the tower...how does it come ?
I’m stuck in this .. i upgraded as required, the 5 champions to 5 stars to upgrade my starter champion but all it tells me is i got no suitable champion, chicken or feast. Did it with incommon thought it made a difference but i dont know, cant seem to get a clear answer no matter what i do. Please help
Mr HH just wanna know ur thoughts about legendary champ Valkyrie pulled her last night I know she is awesom but is she really that relevent in today's scenario now as we have new metas like that void Tigher guy or that fox girl...how u rate Valkyrie will she be in ur top three as of now. It will be grt if u give short talk on her in any of ur next videos.
Correction HH time frame 6.46 2 champions levelling as food is the same as levelling 3 champions over 96 energy. Same number of champions but if you wanted to lvl 2 champions quicker you will not waste experience/energy. Just a stat 96 energy is a stat line for lvling 2/3 champions you get the same results.
Please excuse me if I misunderstood you. But. This is NOT how the XP math works. Brutal 12-3 gives 34608 XP 1 farmer + 3 food, farmer gets 8652, food gets 8652 each, so 3 food * 8652 = 25956 XP goes into the food. 1 farmer + 2 food, farmer gets 11536, food gets 11536 each, so 2 food * 11536 = 23072 XP goes into the food. You wasted 25956 - 23072 = 2884 per run. Over 1000 runs you would waste 111 3-food runs or 125 2-food runs.
HH - Should I 6* Rector Drsth or Apothecary first? I have a ton of supports (Reliquary and Minaya as well) but im FTP, very new and only have Kael at 6* . Any advice would be appreciated
I prefer 12-6 Brutal as my main farming stage but this is some decent insight into the ways farming can go wrong will look back at this later to review mistakes...I am unfortunately guilty of some of the mistakes in the past...I still don't have an Ithos among other decent champions they seem so hard to get Kael on the other hand I get him actually a fair amount I have a total of 5 Kaels on 2 different accounts with 2 of them at 60 one of them wasn't even the starter champion because that account started with Elhain (I know this sounds dumb but I still use her a fair amount because she has Warmaster w better gear than Kael has on the 1st account) I knew better the next time to pick Kael on the 2nd account but overall the account is still plagued by substandard gear and the fact that 5 60s despite what it seems does not necessarily cover all advanced content..
@@vapersmith7859 yea do a comparison for yourself brutal 12-3 with 2x exp takes 9 brutal 1 norm for a 2 star 23 brutal 1 norm for a 3 star 52 brutal for a 4 star 111 brutal and 1 norm for a 5 star so just see if 12-6 takes the same, for me i remember it taking the same amount of rounds, and the pieces are much less silver each
