I just paid $2200 in tickets online to avoid booting only to check 2 weeks later to have another $435 in tickets so this time I op to not pay the tickets and fight them after logging into the online portal I saw the reason I got some of these tickets and its fucking ridiculous I receive multiple tickets for street cleaning in a area when the street was cancel due to COVID-19. I receive tickets for mutilated parking sticker. The parking sticker was clear as day I saw the officer that issue the ticket and ask her why I got ticket for parking in a hotel parking and I had a paid meter ticket that still has minutes she told me the ticket is easy to dispute and she can't do anything about it I just have to dispute.
For the last 3 years I’ve parked behind my apartment in the alley from 1am to 8am before I leave to school but for the past year a son of a bitch officer has been ticketing me at 6am. Now I’m gonna fight them under argument of people not getting bothered on the short time nor do I disturb parking
NYC has a huge dependent class and a huge government worker class that sucks the life outta of the private sector. They both vote in a manner that seeks wealth transfer from productive people to themselves. parking tix is a backdoor tax on the middle class and small business. If you make more than 50k in nyc and u are not a government worker, you should really think about voting differently in the future. NYC has a ticket blitz going and they have no incentive to stop. Watch out for the boot snd towing blitz
I owed 3000 in parking tickets in New York City , my car was in judgements ,i was new in New York i was stopping everyday at the bus lane to buy cigarettes at the deli .After getting all the tickets little by little I couldn’t afford to pay ,my car got booted ,then I gave the city a running for that money.park and drive around for one year without getting booted ..I did get towed after a year because I was negligent .if you wanna how comment below

there is no parking, thats how extortion game works. Box u into a corner so that the business route becomes nonproductive or eat the tickets and hopefully pass it down to the end user. But there is no such thing as “park legally” on most delivery routes
