New York traffic lawyer highlights NYS Speeding tickets and why it's so important to fight them 

How do you go about getting them to drop it down to a parking or lane change instead of a speeding ?

I don't know if you'll respond to this however the other day on 86, I was exiting a work zone and accelerating back to highway speed when a cop headed the other direction flipped in the median and pulled me over. He stated that I was doing 63 in a 45mph worker present zone. I certainly was not speeding through the work zone for the vehicle in front of me forbade me from doing so even if I wanted. I passed the Jersey Wall and the on-ramp sign from the merging roadway sign had 2 orange squares indicating the end of the work zone. The car that was ahead of me got in the right lane and took off. As a commercial driver, this is a serious issue. I immediately suspected something because the cop took off almost immediately. What's your advice on fighting this and do I have a chance of getting this false charge dropped?

Does the 11 points total in 18 months apply for speeding tickets only or all tickets combined. I got 6 points last week and unfortunately now 8 + improper signal + weaving :(.

I recently got 3 tickets in Brklyn on one stop but they checked off that owner was operating but I’m not the owner my mom is. So would that do anything?

Yes so true and commercial drivers have a truck speed and you will see drivers flying by and don’t give a dam and NY hits them hard .they pay up . The toll roads are loaded for cops .

So if you don't speed you don't need a lawyer..lol 11 points you say if your going 41 MPH or more OVER the posted speed limit? you need to be in jail the hell with taking a driving course to get a credit of 4 points so you can have less when your convicted..
