You can't just go to a SCUBA shop and rent a full tank. You have to be a certified diver. It's a liability issue for them, and they will want to see your certification card when you rent the tank.
pay ten dollars at your local dive shop LOL or get an air compressor and an adapter for the paint ball tank and fill it for pennies. personally I think everyone should have an air compressor you never know when you need to refill your car tires for one and you can paint ball for cheaper lol.
if any of you guys are in a fire dept. you can make a adapter for a scba tank. i got all my parks from lowes. as this guy said. fill your tank slowly or it will get hot and risk exploding.
you should be able tp fill it alot, both tanks are 3000psi but thats the pressure in the tank, skuba tank holds a hell of alot more air because of its size
But when you buy a scuba tank and fill your tank then when the scuba tank runs out you need a way to fill the scuba tank!!! I need a cheap comprssor that can fill to 4500 psi!!
of course we don't scuba dive DURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
I BOUGHT A PAINTBALL GUN KIT COMES WITH A MASK PAINTBALL MARKER AND AND A TIPPMANN 20 oz AND I CALLED DICKS SPORTING GOODS AND THEY DO NOT FILL UP TANKS THEN I SEARCHED UP WHERE CAN I FILL UP MY CO2 TANK AND OF COURSE I LIVE IN STATEN ISLAND SO THERES NOTHING AROUND EVERYTHING IS IN NEW JERSEY
little_ gamer yes you can. Don't listen to these idiots. Just look for a compressor that has an output of 20 bar. 300psi. Normally about $2500. Good luck.
kempo_uk I think you meant a compressor with 300Bar (4500 PSI) And for the OP, a normal compressor wont work, it would be like trying to blow air into a car wheel with your mouth.
theres nothing wrong with that... that's like filling up a empty 16oz water bottle with a 12 oz bottle, if it was the other way around then yes it would be a problem
