remember when first watched ur videos, it was 3-4 years ago, since then i started to do parkour, stopped after doing it for 1 year and still remember all movements i learned and still can show some nice tricks and climb up some buildings, it is unforgetable !
Exactly! Parkour is one of those skills where once you develop it once, the deterioration of the skill is almost nonexistent. I'm a high school graduate who hasn't practiced consistently since I was in middle school, and I still have greater skills than non practioner I've ever met.
A tip that helped me when I started: There is a GoPro app you can get on almost any phone that allows you to see what the camera is seeing. Works especially well if you don't have a screen on the camera to watch playback on. Great video as always Ronnie!
I actually got a chep unbranded GoPro for my birthday and it came with normal mounts and when you said I could just turn a normal mount into a mouth mount myself, that actually really helped, thank you so much

Hey Ronnie been watching your videos for a long time now. I got an idea for filming POV parkour videos without the discomfort a mouth gaurd. Why not try getting one of those mesh airsoft masks and mount a gopro to that? I believe you should get similar results but with comfort instead of having to clench your jaw, which could lead to some serious issues later down the line. As always love the videos! 😊
I made my own mouth mount instead of buying one, it cost me $0 cause I just used some soft padding and wrapped it around the mount the GoPro comes with. After that, I wrapped the soft padding in duct tape. Then after that, I added a strap as well. From the reviews of GoPro mouth pieces, is that they were uncomfortable and annoying. So for anyone who wants to save money, make your own. That my opinion
I use a Campark X20 4k cam. Because i cant afford a gopro at this time. Im working on it this is my first time fliming Pk POVs. Im going to launch my new pk yt in maybe a couple days or weeks. Im just trying to get used to fliming my runs. I have a couple lines i been training for a while now. So I plan on using those for my first Pov vids. I mean the cam is great for anyone starting out Povs and really dont have 300 to 400 dollars to spend on a gopro cam. I love it but im going to have fun fliming with it. I had make my own mouth mount using some parts it come with and some duct tape. And works like a charm👍.
Glad you made this video ...I have wondered for a while what kit some free runners were using recently with something in their mouth. I gave it a go a few days back (but without knowing about the special mouth pieces you can buy).
hey Ronnie, I know this is an old video but I'm looking to buy a GoPro for POV parkour videos. However, my parents are extremely concerned about me running with a mouth mount in my mouth. They suggested a chest mount, but I explained that the angle is not the same and the stablilization is even worse. Is there really a high chance of something going wrong? What can I tell them?
Hi Ronny If you use a chestmount like me than it's good If you have a newer GoPro with better stabilsation or you can get a gibmle for the GoPro but then the weight of it is really heavy.
The stabilization on the GoPro 7 is really good, but you still can't control the "look" of the gopro if it's attached to your chest, it can only stay pointed in one direction.
@@ronniestreetstunts that's right but i only have some walls or rails that are parallel to each other and then it is really good to chestmount and i Like it to see my arms and legs in the shots i made but If i hedmout the GoPro i only See my legs and not the arms. By the way wich mode so you use for the GoPro i use the wide Option for the lens eventually a other mode is better for this.

Umm is there a an alternative? Because I don’t want to have a mouth mount for my GoPro, it just looks strange and going to a public place with that seems strange.

I've seen some kids using their phones with that disk mount thing on the back (ment to make better selfies or something) as a make shift mouth mount for pov
Watch his tutorials, use a soft spot like a mattress (your bed) or other soft spots can include areas with grass and sand but those are mainly for flips. For parkour find low surfaces (tables, fences and low walls) to practice at and slowly build yourself up!

Keeping the fov wide and straight ahead is always a to go. It's frustrating how many guys always make the camera facing down too low to the ground. Some guys even fuck it up bad enough by making the fov so damn narrow, blocking literally everything around his vision except for his legs. Like wtf bruh, I watch a pov vid because I want to know what you're seeing around you, the environment you're in, not just your fucking legs. You're making a video about what is happening around you, not just what's happening with your body.
