I loved every second of this video. I’m so glad you're back here. I have two jobs and have difficulty tracking everything I need to do. I updated the app today, and I felt more productive today than I did yesterday. It's the little things that change everything. I woke up, prayed, made breakfast, cleaned my space, and continued my day. I'm ready for 2024…. 🎉Long story short, my boyfriend will be away for a while, and I will be alone for 6-8 months. as a millennial, i can definitely say i'm in the same struggle. I think we take time for granted, but life keeps moving and getting more and more difficult if we stay stuck (which social media can enable). I believe it is helpful to learn some history, of the greats, and realize that we're all capable of accomplishing many things if we stop distracting ourselves and stay disciplined

Get married sister (easier said than done). It helps you guard you from sin and be more modest. When Rasullulah spoke to the muslims about the importance of getting married he used the word shabab in the hadith which means youth. This girl is not the best person to take advice about haya from. She has the best of intentions but we should be getting our advice from upright scholars and ustadhs who embody true islamic values. Go find a tarbiyah teacher and watch your mindset change. I live in Sydney and I understand how hard it is to be single in a western country as a muslim
I quit social media about coming up on 3 years now, it took me a while to find myself just like you social media was just one things that was holding me down. I quit smoking weed and since then have been the best version of myself possible. Being disciplined with running, eating clean, just everything that was so hard for me before. This is the most consistent I’ve been ever in my life and I am 25. Thank you for this video you are a true inspiration ♥️

I deleted instagram and most of the social media platforms, I was doing so well and having a healthy lifestyle but then I went back to instagram and I'm feeling unworthy and depressed rn. Social media is really the main cause of all our mental health issues
Being perfect is not the change you will expect that will satisfy every aspect of your life. However, with consistency and discipline, results will lead to the change that will bring you peace because you’ll see how much of a different person you’ve grown to become. It makes me sad about what we have become. I'm in the last year for millennials; a 1996 baby. I can't speak for all of us of course because people are disciplined! The fact that 80% of us mindlessly scroll on social media, and do not put that energy into personal development, is such a shame. I still suffer from social media addiction myself, although I am trying to break that cycle. I don't have any social media apps on my phone apart from RU-vid for YT Shorts. I unfollow anyone or say "not interested" on any video that isn't for production, development, or self-care. These videos like yours give me motivation. I am SO sick and tired of abusing my body and my life. I am so sad that collectively we're not using the powerful devices in our pockets as a tool to better ourselves. To anyone who reads this comment, you are worth everything in the world. We can do this because we are powerful. It's okay not to be okay and you are doing GREAT in life. Then i woke up on my birthday and found out you started wearing the hijab too. I was so glad!!! And your gym fits are so inspiring so you literally like a godsend for me. Yk how Allah will grant you something better when you give something up for his sake? Yeah i think allah gave me this connection with you. I felt more connected to you and felt like you understand me A LOT. While I’m on this journey I realized a lot. Hijab isn’t only cover your head. It’s everything about you. My partner and I lived together for 4 years and due to job stuff and figuring life out are living separate for 6 months atm, since the move a month ago I’ve been so low and anxious. I think it’s the coolest that you are now a hijabi and that you are promoting self love through respect and dignity. As a Muslim revert I struggle with this the most because of I’m a Mexican American immigrant in the US and that’s already learning a new way of life/lifestyle and Islam is sooo far from my families understanding.
