This video shows how to find the cutting length of stirrups. Cutting length can be find if we know the beam or column cross section dimension, then it can be find out easily, by subtracting the beam width from clear covers we get the respective length then finding each four side length and adding these length, finally you have to find the hook length which is normally taken as 10xdia, and add this hook length to get the total cutting length of stirrups. In this video beam cross section with width 500mm and depth 600mm been solved and its cutting length has been found out. Hope it helps you guys.
