Thanks mate took mines apart and mines has it. But mane when you said do this first before buying them parts I done all the parts except the harness if it wouldn’t had work I’d be so upset with myself.
If it's not pre-wired does it make the process a lot more difficult? I don't know if I need fogs as I have a high quality HID kit and led high beam. But might if its not super expensive
I checked this on my 19 hybrid it has the wire there so I’m a good to get the bumper harness and related parts and also in forscan it says in bcm fog lights enabled
I have the exact same model SE and my harness has the grey 14 wire. I have everything I need, do I just splice my hot connection into the one grey wire for the fog lights to be controlled by the other headlight panel? I ordered that as well...
Kristopher Charles all you need is the front bumper wire harness that have the fog light connection and all you need is the headlight switch with foglight switch on it and fog lights

@@Nickthecarguy I have the gray wire on my 2013 fusion and when I pulled the bumper off and looked at the plugs on the passenger side they didn’t have wires going to the plug. They were dummy plugs😡🤬🤬😡. Can you tell me what I need to get these fog lights to work? I have the harness and the switch.
I have a 2018 fusion se hybrid i took it apart and it does have a gray with brownish in it wire on spot 14. So what parts would i need. I know i need the foglights itself and the headlight switch. Would i need anything else?
You will need the fog light wiring harness I do not know the part number for the hybrids i would try to find a hybrid like your but with fog light and get the vin number off of it so you can order the part
If it's the s I would definitely see if it already pre wired I know the s verson is the stripped down verson where nothing is fancy on it so I would definitely before you buy all the parts and find out that it's not wired up for it
Hi Nick. Thanks for the video. I also have a 2017 Ford Fusion that didn't come preinstalled with Fog Lights. I've always wanted to see if I could somehow install them myself without doing any wire modifications. Would I need to purchase a different knob to activate it once I install my Fog Lights?
You will need a wiring harness that have the fog light connector (I can find the part number ) and you will need a new headlight switch with the fog light button. I didn't need to cut or splice any wire it was all plug and play
Thanks for the response back. After I sent my comment to you I browsed your channel and found out how to replace that switch. Seems pretty easy. My only issue is activating it using the software. I guess I'll watch more videos so I can get used to it. If you don't mind posting that part number., I would appreciate that. Thanks! - Brian
@@BrianCornea no problem I can help walk you through to activate the fog light indicator. I do have a video on how to do it. You will need a obd device that plugs into your laptop you will need a windows 10 laptop
You didn’t really need to do all that work the most simple way to check is to look at your lights switch if it has the fog light button on the switch then it means it’s wired for fog lights save yourself lot of time 👍
You only need one wiring harness I do not know the part number for it unfortunately. I know there are different wiring harness depending what your vehicle have

Trying to do this to an 18 focus se sedan. Have the new switch and 15k867 harness and the foglights themselves ordered. What wire am I looking for on the back of the switch for this?
That's a good question I'm seeing on my diagram that pin 1 which is red is a power and pin 5 is a lin bus and pin 7 is ground I dont see a wire for fog light
@@kennykane6799 not for sure on how to enable the fog light connector on the focus yet you would have to compair the data with one that have fog light and try one code at a time til it enable the fog light indicator
@@kennykane6799 try 720-08-01 xXxx-xxxx-xxxx make the big X C or try 720-06-01 xXxx-xxxx-xxxx make the big X 6 see if one those enable the fog light indicator
I have a video talking about what you need to add fog light I unfortunately don't have a video of me actually doing it. You do have to pull the front bumper off. You also need a wiring harness that have the fog light connector

What kind of fog light did you add? I didnt really need forscan to activate it only just to activate the fog light indicator but that have nothing to do with the fog light not working
@@kerrynorwood7151 I know the led one that I have they only work one way you could have got it plugged wrong. Unplug it and turn the connector upside down and try to plug it in. Also could you not have plugged the connector in all the way on the light or to the body of the car
