So I have been playing for over 500 hours, I’ve dealt with every glitch or bug that I came across.. I had six s class multi tools all maxed out, you understand how long that takes.. one day I’m playing, and I went to switch mulitools and five of those six were some how deleted.. gone forever, so I told myself I’m never playing this game again.. few days later I log back in and go and find two more s class multi tools and max them completely out.. then some how one of those gets deleted.. I couldn’t even believe it.. then today I log back in because there’s no way it could keep happening, but alas, another one was deleted! Are you kidding me?.. seven multi tools erased your over three separate occasions.. probably never play this game again, thanks..
@@revoldaily2158 multitools havent permanently changed in a very long time, if you found them in the last 3 years, they should still be there, something else is likely afoot here, like maybe you didn't reload your save on the apropriate planet to prompt the multitool into the cabinet etc

@@XainesWorld as in all the multi tools in your inventory just keep getting erased, i you misread what I wrote.. five out of my six multi tools were just gone, somehow the game is erasing multi tools that I already own, then two days later another obe of mine got erased, and then today same thing, so in the last week the game has some how erased seven of my multi tools

I will wait until they fix the bug i love my 2 guns i own a combat alien rifle and the prototype hand miner my royal will be a mix of both it still amazes me how much they update this game. We still need a ship update tho 😅

I can confirm from 2 hours of Nanite combat farming by fighting on a pillar you'll only get 1 other pillar location the sample size here was over 50 Stage 5 kills That's 50 classic Walkers downed in 2 hours & they all gave the same pillar location however going to & fighting on THAT pillar did Generate a 3rd location so by save loading & hopping you should always get a new pillar... at least until you find them all on that planet.
I've visited a good many pillars now... still no sign of a Royal. Much as I don't want to just use a pillar someone else as found... it might just be the quicker option. EDIT: Saying that, I've just gone and found a Royal Pillar.
For reference. The experimental fix is not 100% and from the wording I think they acknowledge that. In my case it fixed one of my two Royals and left the other as a standard MT. Also the fixed MT seemed to get a downgrade in stats where the good stats stayed on the messed up model. My situation may have been unusual because I had all tools turn royal but then tested claiming a normal MT from a space station which filled my slots and turned everything back to standard MTs. Either way the advice to keep a save and not assume everything will be fine later is a good one.
Well I mean sure you have to scrounge nanites. Or when your save is turned to normal (because I can find them in expeditions only it seems ) you just change difficulty to free purchases.
on Xbone it's reskinning the royal multitools. I have two now (one Jason found and one I stumbled upon myself) and they've both changed to a common pistol skin. the first one I upgraded to S class and it changed. the second changed while it was unequipped ... which was done immediately after I picked it up to wait out what I thought was an upgrade bug. hoping they change back, but not expecting it.
There's a map you can buy specifically to show you sentinel buildings just a heads up there's no reason to be using the other types since that not only could give you one that isn't a sentinel building, but just the whole they added 1 for those specifically. ^^;
You can also use an exocraft to track a supply depot and kill all the sentinels including the 5 alarm wave, it will unlock a sentinel pillar as well as disabling sentinels for the planet 😀
That was the first place I checked, they weren't available. The patch notes say they're supposed to be a drop from sentinels, but I've had non drop either. So unsure what's going on
@@XainesWorld People are reporting drops from either analysing the glass you get from sentinels or just a straight drop after defeating a larger sentinel, so they do exist.
Do all Sentinel pillars on a planet have the same normal/royal variable? Or does each sentinel pillar have a chance of being royal or normal. Basically im asking if I should stop at one pillar for every planet, or if I should just continue grinding out pillars until I find a royal.

im looking into dead planets, since their low gravity and flat(ish) landscape make for lovely farming grounds. but i dont get pillar locations when i finish the last wave?? really hope im just missing something but i think they dont come up on dead planets. and i did make sure i was in an inhabited system, cus my first trial was uninhabited system. def gonna check in on steam this week if i can. keep up the awesome content! also thanks to all the other UAS/Video creators who got ALL the deets out asap

I portaled to the planet went to the other planet, landed, hopped out, reloaded my game, flew to the space station, and the multitoop in the cabinet wasn't the Royal, it was a B-class rifle... What am I doing wrong? Do I need to repeat the process of flying to New Londinium, save, reload and go back to the space station until I get lucky? Help, please...
So I just found an S-class cabinet in a space station and flew down to the first planet and right to a sentinel pillar. Is there anyway that the royal mt would spawn in the s-class cabinet up at the space station?
Some of that I also figured out. Still I plan to farm more maps in case there is chance to find better class. But I won't play until they fix Multi Tool modell bug. Btw. I found C class basic multi tool inside cabinet. In addition planet spawn pool for Multi Tools has been restarted. My Multi Tool database of 40 star system is useless.
I have another question about something else which I have not got an answer to .I have a sentinel freightor that is black and I wanted to change the colour to blue but it does not change colour. Can black be changed to another color
It should be able to, there were some bugs originally with colour changing on the Freighters, unfortunately it sounds like they may still be around even after all this time, the best bet would be to file a bug report at hellogames.zendesk.com the more they hear about a bug, the higher priority it becomes to fix

you reload at the station and go to the sentinel pillar shown in the vid, the tools will always be at the pillar, the other location are where you land and reload on to cause the right model to show up in the pillar
This latest patch changed MTs once more, hopefully final time. This video was based on this latest patch, so it's all accurate, surprised one you already had changed though
Hmu in replies if you want me to upload a mould farm I found. There's a medium refiner on site to refine 1000s of mould into nanites. This is a great video btw. Thank you.
