ive watched alot of videos about getting good aim on M&KB over the years and even though i consider myself an above average fps player (about 8 years of playing 8 hours almost daily) i still watch these types of videos from time to time just to see if ill learn anything, I never do anymore tbh. However you're videos are really good man, like not only did i learn some stuff but you even pointed out some bad habits of mine that ive previously overlooked. 10/10 would fucking watch this video again. for sure gonna hit you with the like and subscribe.

@Hopdon
@Hopdon 4 года назад
@@lev210 so a few things i wish someone wouldve told me starting out is get a 144 hz monitor (and make sure you set your pc to 144hz, just google it) and getting a modern gaming mouse is huge i would highly recommend the logitech g305 lightspeed wireless. another big thing is i see alot of new players use an insanely high sens and they dont even realize their sense is so high because theyre inexperienced. To find a good sense i would put your crosshair on something thin/small ingame like a light poll and jump around/strafe/circle around it and try to keep your crosshair on target if you have trouble doing that your sens is likely to high so you should slightly lower it by increments until you find a sens where you can easily keep your crosshair on target. also another tell tale sign your sens might be too high is if its taking you half a mag or more (on average) to kill someone in cod at short to mid distance. Another thing that seriously improved my aim is aimtrainers Like "Kovaaks 2.0 the Meta" on steam its only 5$ and it is so worth it. even if you find aimtrainers boring playing them for 30mins to an hour everyday will produce great results for your aim after a month or two. If youre truly serious about "getting good" follow this guide www.dropbox.com/s/vaba3potfhf9jy1/KovaaK%20aim%20workout%20routines.pdf?dl=0 I know its alot to read and its overwhelming at first but man is this easily the best guide on getting good aim on MNKB youre gonna find anywhere. If you do decide to buy kovaaks i imagine youre gonna have alot of questions about it (like i did at first) so just hit me up and id be more than glad to help.
@Hopdon
@Hopdon 4 года назад
@@lev210 one more thing if you do decide to get kovaaks dont just stand still all the time while training your aim, because your gonna either 1 gonna go ingame and get beamed by other players because youve formed a habit of standing still while aiming or 2 when you get ingame and trying to juke the enemys shots youre movement is gonna mess up your aim, not that you cant sometimes standstill while aim training but just dont make a habit of it.

This was helpful. I used to play on roughly 35cm/360 for about a year and a half but i was never really that good. I injured my shoulder recently and using my old sens ends up causing my shoulder pain and fatigue rather quickly so i decided to drop it. I ended up increasing my sens drastically and went to 11cm/360(oof) then to 17cm/360, but after i saw this video i thought i'd go try 20cm/360 and i'm allot more consistent and can hit my shots at range easier, and i found myself doing better than i did on my old sens. I tried to increase it up to 23cm but my shoulder began to flare up, but not as quick as before so that may be an option in the future if my shoulder gets better. I appreciate the advice, probably one of the best sensitivity videos.

I use 14.6cm per 360. And I've tried everything, from 45 cm per 360, to 10 cm per 160. I found that I just aim better on a higher sense, plus it helps me move around faster. It might because my desk is too high or my hand/grip doesn't match my mouse. Low sense just didn't help my aim or consistency, in fact it made it worse. That's why I watched this video, so I can learn why I think high sense works for me.

@DatGoodSir

Unless you are going from the center of the mouse with half the mouse hanging off the pad when you do that then you're probably using around 40cm/360 because the edge of the sensor is what matters not the mouse itself.

mouse weight matters too, with heavy mouse {g502 for example} high DPI works better

the way i have always found a sensitivity in games is just by being able to do a 180 across my mousemat

what about fps games where you can scope in? how different would i want my sensitivity to be for a reg scope vs a sniper? Thats where it gets super confusing for me :S

Hey dude love this vid but how do you know what your ads should be like I said before love the content
@DatGoodSir
@DatGoodSir 3 года назад
It depends on the game generally using the auto scale feature if the game has one is fine or if it has a ratio system like CSGO then using 1 is fine. Other games like Overwatch don't use a ratio and you have to look it up but ultimately your brain can adjust to any ADS sens

I have a question brother btw i really found your video very informative and I’d like to say thanks for taking the time to explain all this on a video. If u get a new mouse would that affect what ure used to in the mouse before and have to re learn what works or do i think it shouldn’t matter ?
@DatGoodSir
@DatGoodSir 3 года назад
Yes, using a different mouse could slightly change your sensitivity preference because some mice shapes have different leverage points that don't exist on other mice and you can take advantage of those but generally it shouldn't matter too much.

I guess it would depend on the game your playing and your style of aiming,if you are aiming down sights with a scope then a lower sensitivity would work better,where as not aiming in would most likely do better with a higher sensitivity

While you can get the same effective cm/360 with various combinations of DPI with the in-game sensitivity, there might be other issues with "pixel skipping" at some lower DPIs. Take a look at this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-16CI_Qdhpaw.html

For everyone watching this, you should NEVER use someone else’s sensitivity. You will be 10x better finding your own and using that as it is configured to your body and no one else’s. I used to use other pro sensitivity’s for the games I would play and was not playing to my best potential. Once I found my own I have never looked back as I have improved astronomically.

@R0b Some advice or tips how to do it. i tried some sensitivitys and never felt it's fit to me but honestly i have no clue how to find it. the most problem is that im not a person who only sit at one game. so if you have some tips for me i would apprechiate it
@ArchiveQ50
@ArchiveQ50 4 года назад
Baratox I would start with just playing the game with the intentions of becoming better instead of trying to only focus on one thing at a time. It sounds weird but when you force yourself into that mindset things become easier to think about. As for improving your aim I would keep increasing or decreasing by small numbers or by moving the slider in the game and find a sensitivity where you feel confident in your movement and flicks. From there you just need to play the game and make small adjustments based on what you notice you are missing or having trouble with. For an example I sometimes change my sensitivity mid game to slightly higher +-.2 as there are curtain situations in every game that you need to adapt to.

I like your videos. However, what would you recommend to a person who is more comfortable with lower sensitivity (19-20in/per360 rotation)? I'm trying to learn to play on higher sensitivity (15in/per360 rot.) for some time now, but the small, precise movements are the most difficult for me. The reason for the switch to higher sens is also the reaction time and ability to "catch-up" with the enemy very close to you. It's as is my hand starts to shake a little bit (maybe it's stress during closer encounters). I use G Pro Wireless for my rather large hands (8inx4in), and I'm starting to think that maybe heavier, and larger mice would do better for me - G502 Wireless perhaps? Maybe you have some recommendations, should I keep practicing on Kovaak and in-games? Or should I make some changes to the sensitivity/hardware?

Plz help me how can I find the same sinsivity from csgo to Valorant ? my csgo sensivity is on csgo 2.19 ! How to convert it on valorant !
@DatGoodSir
@DatGoodSir 4 года назад
Simply take your cs sens and divide it by 3.18 so in your case 2.19/3.18= 0.6886.... but valorant only allows 3 decimals so your val sens would be 0.689 🙂

my room is really small and i totally get on it since young, now i never use more than about 45x30 cm² what is really small for avarage players, i almost the tine use even less than 45x30 it really get about a 10x10cm in the middle lower, i use tons of micro moviments to fix my aim and now that may i could go better training in more space and more low sensetive, but even in csgo i get pretty well for my fun, and when i tried hard, i start up my competitve really fast in a team, because i play much more for strategy than pure aim force anyway... i never pickup awp, even i got really easy kills on it, because i know that awp is not my kind of weapon, i prefer much more aug sg shotguns, another ar, smgs in general heavy machineguns and tons of granades to late game, not breaking start defende postions or rushes... i use it in late rounds stuff or importante plays, not just fire the hole to throw it because i buy it stuff... well i got fun and i love it, i almos not swing my arm and most movements are just handled by hand and finger... i put 1200 dps in my mouse, what is really high for csgo players, but works for me and i use it in ingame settings about 1.5 sensetiviness, i did a lot of job to go this down, i used to keep at 3.0, with 1600 dpi, but in scary situations i just lost entier my aim, now i can handle some scary situations without lost the aim, but some times i still did mistake with it, but i guess is better keep it in this, i had no much room to expand mouse moviment, my table is not a play time like mosts are, i can free the top part to put in my bed or can modify it to be a table stand up to work or play in up position, all this perks comes with sacrifices with size that i got very okay, but i know i can't do what a giant dedicated table can in some stuff... but i still very okay with my entire setup, is good to use this kind of table and just pull out the top table to go bed see a movie or serie than get the legs again in stand up position to not get sit all day long in work and play stuff hehe plus perifels are full wireless logitech stuff, the may problem is headset with just 12 hours of playtime, i totally need at least 24 hours with ideal time 48 plus, but it is okay i just use extra batteries anyway... is a pain in the ass all modifiers to do, but done is really neat setup for multiples tasks

Would you recommend having different sensitivities depending on the game you play ie. Ow, quake, csgo, Val or to just stick to one for all games ?

It's really up to you, either method works. there's serval great players that that do use multiple sensitivities because the brain adjusts rather quickly once you do it for awhile.
